From April 1st council tax is being changed to council tax support we had our letter and those who on benefit have to pay between 10 and 20 percent not it depends on local council and how much you pay

We are on benefits and we already pay half towards the council tax. We are dreading getting the revised one.Karen xx0

No they are 2 separate issues.
Everybody is expected to pay a part of the council tax from April 2013. Previously those on qualifying benefits/ low income were exempt.
Many will need to find additional payments for any extra bedrooms (social housing and Housing association tenants) AND pay towards the council tax.
