Wont be having my fusion until AT LEAST the end of May :(

After having my fusion surgery cancelled right at the last moment last week and then being told we will get you in, in 2 weeks asap, I thought, yay, only a few weeks.

I got my sister to ring up for me (I am deaf) as I had not got any details, and was told that it wouldnt be until AT LEAST the end of May which kind of makes me sad/angrey as Ive been on the waiting list since August but what can you do?! :(

    If I was you I would ring up and ask if the have a cancellation list they usually do...its not fair to leave you waiting now....your turn came and it wasn't your fault they cancelled...you wouldn't have known a scratch could lead to this...good Luck x

    haha, about an hour after putting this post, the surgeon rang my mum and said my surgery is in the 9th May. When my sister rang up, she said she wasn't happy so I think that may have kicked them in to action.

    It's still exactly a month from my original date but its still better then what I thought.
