I have arthritis in my lower spine and right ankle. Following a decompression operation 2 years ago I continue to walk with 2 sticks. I would like to progress to walking with just one. Does anyone have any advice as to how I can achieve this, please.

Hi Tricia
If I was you I would go to one crutch...I have just stopped using two stick and gone to using crutches and find I am moving better....I really made my back worse with the sticks....I seem to be more upright ...then maybe you could use one stick.xLove

If possible can you book in with a physio they will be able to help you rebalance yourself and strengthen the appropriate muscles to help you cope.0
