R.I.P Bill Pertwee

Bill Pertwee has died at the age of 86. He played the air raid warden Hodges in Dad's army.
He was a distant cousin to the late Jon Pertwee,
R.I.P Bill, you gave us lots of laughs.

  Will be sadly missed , only the vicar and Pike left from Dads' Army now . We don't see character actors of that calibre these days . Jillyb
