R.I.P Mel Smith

Mel Smith has died at the age of 60 of a heart attack. Made his name with Griff Rhys Jones as Alas Smith & Jones. I will forever remember his voice over in the cartoon "Another bloomin' Christmas."

    My husband has just told me about this (we've been out all afternoon, he heard it on Radio5Live news at 8 pm. ). Ye gods - I watched Alas Smith and Jones with some devotion when younger. RIP, Mel. DD

    So sad and so young.
    My Son being a Mr Bean fan recently discovered Not the Nine o clock news so I had the pleasure of sitting with him watching the many hilarious clips again.
