    Morning all the sun is out so nice and bright...
    Welcome to the cafe bridlass...glad to got to use the hot tub ..hope you didnt get to wrinkly... :lol: hee the thought of nice warm water in this weather.. :D
    Christine sorry I think I forgot you the other day...my brain just doesn't function properly.. :?
    Today we are minding the baby while mum and dad go shopping..I have made her one of the Christmas videos ..were father Christmas says her name and there are pics of her in it..so that should be fun... :D kettle is on and I will be sat by the window having a ponder.... hope everyone's has well as can be...xxxxx

    By heck it's windy out there today. Was going to wash the bedding but it would just get blown into the middle of next week and beyond :roll:

    Waiting for my Tesco delivery . . . should be anytime . . . and . . .there's chocolate!!!!!! Any want to share? There's Baileys too . . . Are we allowed alcohol in the café?

    dont poke around in the understairs cupboard Bridlass the witches brew is fermenting for next years halloween.

    Joan, won't be long now for your foot scan, isn't it the same day as my rheumy appointment, or is it the day before. 29th? My dad's 85th birthday.

    Mig, we had no snow, so you must be further north than we are.

    Slomo, I'm glad I'm not the only one whose memory goes AWOL now and then. :roll:

    Did Emily deliver some nice grub? I've looked, but can't find it.Perhaps she's put it all on the bottom shelves where she knows I can't get down to. Cheeky so and so. :o

    bridlass the pics are from cosgan smilies..just click on the pick you want..and the line at the bottom goes blue so right click copy then on the forum right click paste..I think... :lol:
    Kath yes you just slide in ..I have put some lavender oil in ..
    Mig no snow here but bitterly cold..think we forget how cold it can get...
    Joan hope you are both keeping warm...
    I am sat here with a blanket round my legs..think I might start counting down to spring...only around 17 weeks.. :shock: :lol:

    Joan, wrists do take a while. Hope Sue's is ok again by Xmas. Yes, thermals are a godsend at this time of year.

    Slomo, glad you enjoyed your trip. Nothing like spending time with family and friends to lift the spirits. Oh wow, I could do with one of those - a man who can cook so well, that is. :lol: Does he do ironing too?

    Mig, that's good of you to have your neighbour's son to do your shed with him just starting out. Sounds as if he'll make a good job of it for you too.

    Oh Barbara, what a lovely present for the cafe dwellers. is there any room left for me? Looks as if everyone is in there. Barbara, don't worry. I wasn't in yesterday. Too tired to do much.     Hi Bridlass. Welcome to the cafe. My garden chair was blown down the garden last night and both the back gate and shed door were banging with the wind. (Sorry neighbours :oops: ) It's supposed to be calmer tonight. Oh, chocolate and Baileys? Yes, you're definitely very welcome. :D Poor delivery man.

    Kath, well I'm keeping my bedsocks on in the tub. My feet are cold. :lol: Don't worry Kath. We'll search around and find Emily's food. She can't hide it from us.

    Set off for the train to town and got snowed on but it did brighten up as the day went on. Accidentally went in to C*st* for a Xmas drink. Mmmmm. My youngest GD, Dr McStuffin (at least she thinks she is), has a tiny tiny doctor's bag which opens but we thought you'd never find anything small enough to fit in it but she has told us that Santa has it in his bag ready to bring her. Well I was just having a look round in one of the shops today when I found the bag, including the doctor's instruments. In the same shop, they had Xmas trees up and decorated with big white flowers so I ecided to buy some. They only had coloured ones in a tub so I took the ones off the trees. After I'd bought them, I found them in a tub in another part of the shop. :lol:

    Mig we had frozen snow yesterday too, but I only saw it on the cars rooves when we went out yesterday morning.

    This morning we have a heavy frost and sunshine.

    Good job my heating is (at least temporarily) fixed :roll:

    Barbara I do hope Baby loved the video all about her??

    Joan I am glad you've no snow yet it's CHILLY here!! Hope Sue's still healing ok??

    Slomo that was very kind of your husband to cook for us all yesterday please thank him :)

    It's Bridlington Dickensian Festival today in the Old Town. Santa, reindeer, all sorts of stalls, choir etc. Don't know if I am going though. It's slippy out. :ok010.gif

    Ooooh dear, everyone has fallen asleep in the hot tub. I'll tiptoe over to the kettle to make a cuppa for everyone before I wake them up. k050.gif

    Toni, my GD already has a normal sized doctor's bag but I did buy her the tiny one. It has a tiny surgery desk with it too and a couple of little dolls. I was wondering if you could collect the tickets tomorrow when you go to the station but you've probably already gone. If you're like me, you'd rather get them today to make sure you have them.

    Just thought I'd throw something into the mix . . . . How about a Pets Corner? I'm sure our pets help us in some way or other? Help us feel calm, make us laugh, :) , etc.

    Afternoon all late today the sun is out but its freezing..but much better than rain and wind
    bridlass I was going to ask if you cam from Bridlington...we go to Scarborough often and always have a day in brid..the fair sound good..hope you have a good day there..and glad to see you found the smilies... :D we did have a cow in the cafe for fresh milk..and a kitten ..think we had better look for them..
    Christine the Christmas vids are good and you can pay a couple of £s for HD very good quality..glad you enjoyed your drink...and finding the bag for your GD...I adore shopping for the little ones..mind you we only have the baby now all the other are teens..have you got your tree up.. :)
    Toni I hope that Lucy's scan goes ok and the results are good you must worry so much with every stage..maybe when she can build up a little more ..it will help joints.glad you dont have to drive.. :)
    Called in on our youngest son and family this morning..they have put there tree up...and every time someone calls in ,the baby gives them a tree decoration... :lol: she is 3 now so it will be lovely for them at Christmas..her sister is 11 so not really into it..think I was 14 before someone told me there was no father Christmas... :roll: :lol:

    Hope that Cate is doing ok ..not seen her for a while and Toady of course

    Apple crumble please.Very cold today ,heatings been on all day.

    Some of you may remember several months ago I told you about hubbies sister who had lung cancer but they thought they had removed it all I'm afraid its back again and the news is not good ,the doctors have given her weeks maybe a couple of months ,she is in a hospice at the moment ,she wants to go home and with help they are trying to do that,she isn't strong enough for treatment apart from pain relief,she knows what the future holds and is resigned to it,she is being well looked after and is comfortable.Mig

    Barbara, I don't normally put any decorations up till about a week before Xmas but have got the decorations down today. Might put them up a bit earlier this year. How sweet of your GD giving people a decoration. Three is a lovely age at Xmas. Ramble away. It's lovely to hear about your family.

    Mig, so sorry to hear about your hubbie's sister. I hope she gets home soon. I'm sure she'd rather be with her family.

    Bridlass, nice cat. We did used to have one. Not sure where she went.

    Bridlass I hope your pain is not too bad. yes a pets corner my our dogs make us laugh we take them for a walk us on our mobility scooters we make people laugh as we go along when they are tired they sit on the bottom of the scooter. have you seen the jigsaw puzzles jigzone.

    Just making braised liver for tomorrow which we well have with carrots and mash,I usually use the slow cooker but Ive put it in the oven right down low it will keep the kitchen warm even with the heating on its cold in there.
    Do I do some ironing or not ? can't decide might have a nod.Mig

    I had to keep awake today as my Son had his first ever PIP assessment. He hummed all the way through and would not answer any questions but nevertheless I found myself worrying about what I'd said in answer to her questions. So I'm too flustered to sleep.

    Itching is still on and off. I'm okay if I take the pills and cover myself in the creams but that can take up a lot of time.

    Sorry still not in a Christmassy mood but will get there eventually.

    I was naughty and had 2 Baileys at the meal Toni and was okay. They were teeny glasses though.
    Awful news about hubbies Sister Mig. Can only hope she will be made comfortable.

    What was the name of the Doctors bag Applerose. The one she wanted before? Just seen it Mc Stuffin!!!!(reading back).

    Is anyone lighting the fire today? The pets would love it too.
