    It's so sweet Kath!!

    Adorable :)

Two puds for me please the porridge and the fool :) and the nut roast for main :)

Barbara - we will miss you very much. Is Joan being your PA? Just so we don't annoy you texting all the time. Whatever you haven't got your OH will sort I am sure. Thinking of you very much today ((())) xxx

Sorry I didn't get on yesterday - we were viewing another bungalow....

    http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-34117074.html

and have just been back for a second viewing and took Lucy with us. Watch this space while we all have a think now :)

    Christine
I had to cut our grass for selling the house. It was wet, but I managed not to chew it up!

What a strange story that the bread was discontinued unless you and other people asked for it and made Tesco reconsider??

Hi Joan Lucy is doing fine after her fall. Mind you she is tired today as she spent half the night sorting her friends out!!

I hope all is well with you, Sue and the dogs?

    Love to everyone

Barbara, your OH is going to have everything sorted for you coming home. The trough can wait a while longer I'm sure. I'd be the same, packing and repacking. As you say, your OH can get you anything you need.

Kath, I do like your elf house. Looks as if it's in exactly the place the elves would put it themselves. Think I'll have the roast and apple and raspberry crumble today thanks.

Toni, I wondered if a few people had complained about the bread. Hope it's done the trick. Hope Lucy got her friends sorted last night. Is she back at college? Hope she's coping after her fall. Will go and have a look at the bungalow now. Didn't want to do it before I posted in case I deleted it.

Well Cinderella went to the ball about 20 times today and the prince (me) had to chase after her every time to try on the glass slipper (or sandal) which got left behind each time. We went for a walk to the park for a while as the weather wasn't too bad. Also had an appointment with the nurse to check my ears. I've been deaf in my left one for about 3 weeks now despite putting oil in every night. Turns out the one I can hear in is more blocked than the deaf one. She suggested I get drops from the pharmacy and use them several times a day. I can just imagine what my boss will say if he finds me lying down to let them sink in.

Toni, the bungalow looks lovely. What beautiful surroundings too. And the garden looks huge. I can just picture you and Lucy riding round on a sit on lawn mower.

    Hi everyone :)

I hope you are all well and that Barbara is ok bless her heart :?

Christine I agree Elves would live in there - does Elfie have such a house I wonder?? ;)

Cinderella sounds to have had a great time there with Prince charming

We have another gorgeous day here. Sun shining beautifully :)

Lucy hasn't missed any time at college/the salon due to her fall - she's doing fine :)

I hope you have a nice day Joan. I expect Barbara will be telling you how things are going? I had a text a bit back saying she isn't going down till 1 so she will be there now I expect :(

    Hi to one and all,
Such lovely things, Elf Houses, Bungalows, equally as gorgeous :) I think the third time visit, would be to move in, it is very nice indeed.

Thinking of Barbara and hoping everyone is as ok as can be and enjoying this glorious weather. Looking at our weather, today seems to be the only sunshine day for over a week.

OH has been busy in the garden, mowing the lawn for the first time (that will wind the neighbours up and they will have to do theirs now) In my wisdom I thought I would have a potter and noticed that the vax was out, so I decided to have a vacuum round, well, I managed the kitchen and lounge, slowly, but then had to give up. I was having angina yesterday and a lot of back pain so I thought quit while you are ahead. OH told me off  but, sometimes, you just want to do a job that you used to do without a thought, in times gone by. C'est la vie :(

Everyone take care, I will have a gentle potter, no vacuums, it has been put away, I might flick a duster, I can manage that. OH has vanished outside with a saw, so goodness knows what is being chopped !!

    Hello Bubbles :)

Lovely day for your OH to do some gardening ;)

I think you are very very wise to stick to duster-flicking today

I am thinking very much of our Barbara today and hoping she has been in touch with Joan. Mind you I am probably a bit premature - if she wasn't going down until 1pm.

    Love

    Toni xxx

Ps I agree about the bungalow :)

I am so glad you agree about the bungalow, I am already moved in and arranging furniture, lol. Lots of hugs and thoughts for Barbara too. She will be groggy this evening. Having said that, they have you up and out of bed in a flash these days. I remember patients being in for 10 days after a gall bladder op, now they are out the morning after  Not in my book. Still, the ever growing bed crisis means in, out, thanks for calling. Best not get me on my little soap box.
I will flick, or maybe sit and drink T with Mark's biscuits, now, there's a better idea XX Bubbles

Just wondering how Barbara is doing. I sent a text at 6.30pm but haven't heard anything. If she didn't go down till after 1pm, maybe she's not come round properly yet.

Joan, I was told my ears might get a bit worse with the drops before they get better and it could take about 6 weeks. Poor Barbara being so hungry waiting for her op. At least it should be over and done with now.

Toni, I'm sure Elfie's house is similar. Lucy is doing very well to continue at college despite her fall. Oooooo, I've just read you have had your offer accepted. Wonderful. I'm all excited for you.

Bubbles, quite a few people here have been out with their mowers. I still think it's a bit wet here but I did mine but just took the tops off. I think you're right to just flick the duster and not overdo things. Hmmm, you'll have to let us know what your OH has been sawing. Just read you have decided to sit and drink tea and eat biscuits. I'd prefer that too.

Oops I did it again. Got home from work and it was such a beautiful day so I went in to the garden. Decided the hedge needed to be cut back so I got the hedge cutter out and did the front of the hedge. It was hard work as the cutter seemed so heavy. I couldn't do the inside or top of the hedge so left it. I got the brush out but could hardly sweep. No strength left in my hands and arms. It took me longer to clear up than it did to cut the hedge. And being a glutton for punishment, I cut the grass too. At least I only had to walk up and down with that. Just hope I can get to work in the morning.

    Joan Toni Christine and all

Thanks for updating on Barbara, glad the OP went well. Always right to fear the physio's lol, they put you in positions you didn't know existed and then say does that hurt !!

Was going to have a little lay in today, but the cats put paid to that, howling and shouting, then the phone rang, then two of the cats were spitting at each other, (mother and son). They have all only just settled, running about and playing silly beggars.

Plenty of washing and drying to do, so I will be happy away in the kitchen, pottering.

No sunshine today, no plans, an at home day, before family visit tomorrow. Cousin coming up from London, so we will be out to lunch once more :)

Offer accepted on the house, way to go Toni, there will have to be a party, everything sugar free though, so we don't pay any extra tax

I might have an early shower, will prime OH for foot care duties.

    Lots of hugs XXXX Bubbles

Thinking of Barbara at the mercy of the physios. I hope they are being gentle with her. :?

Bubbles, no sun here either! I hope you enjoy time with your visitors. :D

Christine, I hope you have recovered from you titanic efforts in the garden. Trust you.

    Sending everyone hugs. Xx

Oh Bless, poor Barbara, I would have too, the shock of the OP and then the Physio looming, enough to frighten the daylights. Let me on the ward and I will keep them well at bay until Matron says it is ok. :)

The neighbours did cut their lawn, not to be outdone, lol. We get on fine with them, nice retired couple.

Almost time for Bargain Hunt, fav show, shame Tim has left - he made the show.

Joan do you reckon our Barbara did that blood-pressure dropping thing when you stand up?

Bless her and thank you so much for the update :)

I knew the neighbours would copy you Bubbles!! hahaha!

Jump off a cliff would they?

busy day today completing solicitor's paperwork and evidencing our savings for the agents ::)

Kath no sun here either and I was sure we'd have some with it being foggy first thing too :(

Christine I hope your ears aren't too painful. Joan has heard from Barbara and I have txted so she knows I got the bungalow too :)

My heart goes out to her I hope she's ok.

I know shall I get the bus out for a visit?

Joan, thanks for the update on Barbara. Poor thing fainting. I remember she did last time. I hope they go easy on her with the physio. My ears aren't painful at all. I just can't hear and have a very loud buzz in one of them. Hope you've had a good day.

Bubbles, the physios do get you in to some strange positions. I usually tense up and won't let them move me. Once I was sure my arm was going to snap off. Hope the cats behave tomorrow and let you sleep in.

Kath, I know. Who do I think I am? Superwoman?

Toni, sounds like a busy day. The sun popped in and out here today, mostly out, in between showers. My ears aren't painful at all. Just can't hear anything except a loud buzz. Good idea getting the bus out to visit Barbara.

Mig, hope things are ok with you.

I was looking forward to going to the farmers market to get my gluten free pies as it hasn't been on since before Xmas but they have cancelled this month's and next month's so no pies for me till the end of May. :( I've ordered Easter eggs for my Australian GC. Not sure they'll get there on time as yesterday was the last day to be guaranteed to get there. Can't remember if I told you. My youngest Gd was in the kitchen with me the other day. We were supposed to be choosing some fruit but she wandered down to the other end and said, 'What's that? Has the Easter bunny been to your house?' I'd bought chocolate bunnies for each of the kids and she spotted them.

Ooops! Christine that silly Easter Bunny left them early! BUT he often does that to Grandparents' houses you know.

He doesn't have a sleigh or elves to help him like Santa you see.

Glad your ears aren't hurting at least.

No sun again today and our buyers are returning for another look around so I am busy busy cleaning again

Might as well zap round in here too while I'm at it ;)

    a070.gif

Right the bus....Mig and Christine glad you agree :D

    p065.gif

I am happy to drive unless we get any volunteers?

I think we should set off perhaps tomorrow Barbara will be ready for visitors by then ;)
