Ah that's why the chocolate has arrived early. I did feel guilty not giving my GD one there and then. All that tidying and cleaning must be wearing you out. Hope you get some rest in between. I don't mind driving. I passed my test about 15 years ago but haven't driven since. I'm sure it's just like riding a bike and I'm sure everyone will shout out if I do something wrong.  I'm sure Barbara will be ready for us by tomorrow.

Good morning (well good afternoon). Just got up ad had a quick look at all the IDS news first.

Hoping Barbara is doing okay. Please send her my love if you have her number.

Are those steps outside the new house Toni? There is a lot of space in this house. Love the fireplace and open plan kitchen the best.

    Not stopping, all is well.

Dan has his first night-stay on Thursday. Wish me well.

    Elizabeth xx

Just thought you would like to see Emily's Skegness silk hankie. Alex found it for her on a stall.

Joan, I got a text from Barbara this afternoon saying it was a rough ride. Hope that won't be for long.

Elizabeth, hope you manage to have some quality time on Thursday and you don't worry too much. I'm sure Dan will be fine.

Kath, what a pretty hankie. A very good find.

I went in to town today and did a few bits and pieces. Got another Easter egg each for my GC and I had a voucher for a half price lobster from L*dl. Unfortunately, I noticed H*ll*nd and B*rr*tts had a buy-one-get-one-half-price so I came out with a big bag of yogurt nuts and raisins and a Mrs Cr*mble cake.

Elizabeth - of course we'll be wishing you luck fro Thursday - I hope Dan has a good time so you can have more respite :)

Don't worry about the steps there's a slope to the left to get in round the side or back.

Hi Joan - thank you very much for the update. You'd better warn Barbara that the bus will be on it's way tomorrow after visiting ;)

Christine of course the Easter Bunny has to go early to Grandparents obvious really ;)

I think lack of recent driving will be a positive attribute for tomorrow's trip to see our friend ;) Hehehe!

I am here with wheatie having taken arcoxia :)

Kath that hankie is so pretty well-done Alex :) I bet your daughter is chuffed to bit with it :) Hope you are ok??

    Love

    Toni xxx

Ps thanks for the info from Barbara Christine - bless her :(

Hope Bubbles is ok and Slomo....Toady and others :?

yes Mig, it is just like bumper cars. Easy. Right so I need to get out my nurse's uniform. Where did you find that Toni? Was it in the basement? Good idea. We could put a few cushions on it to keep Barbara comfy while we go for our fish and chips. Hope all the coughs go quickly.

Joan, thanks for letting us know what Barbara will be wearing so we can collect her. And she's had a wash all ready.

    Hello everyone
Barbara said that's lovely but it will have to be Southport that is the nearest but you might have to bring me back.
Barbara hopes Christine is driving her back as she will scare everyone in this state.

ostern(280).gif I hope it doesn't collapse under my weight.

See you all there. I might sneak her some chocolates in too. 8)

I agree Toni, Barbara doesn't need to thank us. She is always there to support us. Thanks for the uniform.

Thanks Joan. Southport it is. And yes, I'll driver Barbara back. Just fixing the car. n060.gif

Kath, I like your transport. Obviously an Easter chick. I'm sure Barbara will enjoy some chocolates.

I've uploaded more of my parents' photos. Got a bit emotional as there were lots of my mum. A few laughs too at some of the antics the children of the family got up to, the hairdos and clothes.

oooh, an outing, gosh, I had better dust off my uniform quickly, not that it will fit any more, still, I can pin it and hope for the best  I will have to dig out the medicine trolley that I used to have here, hope it is still around somewhere.

Southport is lovely, nice and flat along the promenade.

Hope everyone has had a good week end and is as ok as possible. Sending hugs to Barbara and to everyone else XXX

Hahahaha!! Men! well it was GREEN!!!

Joan I am sure Barbara is ok...maybe she is home and her OH has to charge her phone or something.

Bubbles you can sort out Barbara's pain relief for her :) I am sure your uniform will still fit ;)

Christine is the car fixed? We can push-start you if it helps? Lovely looking at old family pics - yes a bit emotional, but lovely too :)

I loved Kath's chick!!! My Kath that's a biggun  I hope you hold on tight!!

Had a nice sunset here after a cloudy day - clocks forward at the weekend is it??

I got a text from Barbara this morning. She said she's had another funny (or not so funny as she said) turn so it will be tomorrow now before she can get home. She sends her love to all.

Joan, Barbara asked me to let you know that the internet keeps going down but she's seen your messages.

Bubbles, your uniform looks fine. The medicine trolley might come in handy.

Mig, I don't think men can tell the difference between cucumbers and courgettes. They are both the same shape and colour so as far as they are concerned, they are the same thing.

Toni, I think the car will start but might conk out again so be prepared to get out and push. The sunset here was beautiful too. I was wondering if it's this weekend the clocks change. That means I probably won't get to work till lunch time.

I managed to get back to my studying (Mindfulness) this afternoon and quite enjoyed it. 3 modules finished and halfway through module 4. There are 11 altogether.

Made me laugh out loud. I guess some courgettes are quite big and some cucumbers quite petite  Try a swede and a turnip next time, perhaps a sweet potato (not one that looks cute)
Hope the cough gets better soon, there is a nasty virus doing the rounds, I had the same thing and I was getting quite worried to be honest. It does go, eventually......

Thank you for updating on Barbara, hugs abound for a speedy recovery.

Went out for lunch today, which was nice. It was colder than it looked. The Tea Room is in quite an open spot and the wind whistles round your nether regions. Never a good thing.

Hope everyone is as good as can be, tissues, cough medicine and lavender pats all round, do we still have them? I hope so. XXX Bubbles
