Here's wishing a Happy birthday to Dame Vera Lynn. She turned 99
years young yesterday. Throughout her life she has meant so much to so many through her songs.

    She was indeed the voice of a generation and I hope she makes it to 100, unlike so many of those who took heart from both hearing and seeing her. DD

    Yes it's still nice to see her at reunions. I too hope she makes it to her letter from the Queen.
