Hi everyone , I'm Nyssa , I'm 34 from kent and I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis back in march last year! I've had a very up and down year with lots of pain and the arthritis spreading and getting worse , am now on salfasalazine tablets and they seem to be helping although I have been getting awful headaches! Have only been on the tablets for 5 weeks so am trying to stick them out and hope they headaches settle down soon.x

    I've not had sulph but I know the headaches are common. We have a thread on the Living With Arthritis forum currently about them as Rach101 is experiencing similar problems. I think it's good that you're trying to persevere with them but, if it gets too bad, please ring your rheumatology helpline for advice
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
