Follow up appointment

Just wondering did anyone have a follow up appointment after THR? I was told I will only be going back to have the staples removed but nothing else, is this right?

    Could be. I always had follow-up appointments but each hospital has their own rules on such matters. For my last op - a knee revision - the follow-up was with a nurse practitioner.
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    It was the admin lady that said there'll be no follow up appointments. I'll ask my surgeon tomorrow

    I still thought it was standard practise to see us following surgery at about 6-10 weeks.
