First time poster. Child reaction to Methotrexate

Hi All,

First time poster who himself has psoriatic arthiritis and unfortunately our 2 year old was diagnosed with IJA recently.

I have taken methotrexate myself with manageable sides but my daughter has started on the injection a few days ago. She has been suffering with really bad diarrhoea today and was wondering if anyone else with little ones has suffered the same? Poor thing has been on a lot of medication this week as she also received pulse treatment of steroids to kick start her recovery.

If it continues or gets worst will take her into a and e tomorrow as the weekend

    Welcome to the forum it is always sad when your own child is diagnosed with Arthritis and there are some on this forum who will understand what you are going through,everyone on this forum has Arthritis of some kind they are also understanding and encouraging people.
