Hi new to the forum, after posting that general folk don’t want to hear your arthritis woes, I was suggested to join on here- feeling a bit sorry for myself after another round of trigger point injections this morning. Man they hurt like hell, no local and straight into the facet joints in my neck. Anyone else experience them who can share my literal pain! Had a previous round of them and the nerves cortarised in the back of my neck with no success- hoping this will be different. Just reaching out, not looking for sympathy.0

Well that’s a blow, sympathy coming up, I’ve got problems with my neck and know how painful it can be and how little space there is for extra fluid to be stuffed in! (((()))) very gentle hugs.
If you feel you would benefit from a chat then do ring our helpline, 0800 520 0520, they are there from 9am until 8pm
I do hope you neck improves very soon, remember to keep still for a couple or 3 days to help it work, you need to keep that fluid in your neck as long as you can
Do post again to let us know how you are getting on, is it caused by osteoarthritis? Mine is :P

Ouch! That sounds horrible. The treatment seems almost as bad as the problem.
I can't help, I'm afraid. I've had RA and cónsequent OA for years and had jabs in several other places but my neck has more or less fused itself so not painful now.
How are things today? Any better?
By the way, people might be more likely tó see your post if you copy it onto the Living With Arthritis forum. This one is essentially for nón-arthritis chats and, apart from 'Val's cafe', barely used these days. The cafe people would make yóu welcome, though

Trigger point injections eh Lynda? There was a lady on here had them fairly regularly for her neck. Skezier most people will remember here.

Please do join in anywhere everyone is really friendly. As Stickywicket said the café-crew are all lovely (obviously I am one of them!) and always welcome new people. You do need to be slightly mad and enjoy virtual food apart from that we'd love to have you
