Tendon pain
Hello,
I’m new to the forum and looking for some advice. I’ve had RA for a number of years now and recently I’ve started to get pain in the tendons of my ankles. I also have slight bump on both my heels, more so on the right foot. It’s particularly sore when I get up from sitting. I also have increased pain in my hips and hands at the moment. Has anyone experienced any of this and is it a symptom of RA or something else?
Thanks!

Hi @susanu78 welcome to the Online Community.
Having had RA for a number of years you are now experiencing pain in the tendons around your ankles. The slight bump on your heels may be nodules that sometimes form as a result of RA. See more here:
Unfortunately, no one here is medically qualified to give you a diagnosis but lots of our members will have had similar experiences. A great source of information can be found on our web site and there is a useful page regarding foot and ankle pain that mey be of some help:
