Bio similar help

I’ve not long started Bio similar treatment for Spondyloarthritis. I wondered if there’s anyone else on this kind of treatment that can reassure me. I’ve started to get quite anxious at times, especially at night, worrying about all sorts of things and am finding it hard to switch off and just relax. I’m not sure who to talk to so thought I’d post!

Read about biological medicines, which are used to treat some long-term medical conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, uveitis, Crohn's disease, psoriasis and ankylosing spondylitis.

I haven't tried this myself so cannot directly answer your question on experiences but hopefully others will be able to.

Thank you for your posting on the forum. I see that you are taking biosimilars for spondyloarthritis and you have started to feel anxious and worried and can’t relax. I see that you have been given a link already with information about biosimilars on the NHS website. If you are concerned about anything that you think may be a side effect of the medication then it is important that you speak to your rheumatology team. Do you have a number for your rheumatology specialist nurse that you can call for advice?

People can react differently to different drugs and often people’s experiences may not be similar to yours but if you post on the ‘Living with arthritis’ forum on our website you may get responses of others different experiences.
