Anyone on methotrexate + Hydroxychloroquine?
Anything I should watch out for that you experienced?
I am on hydroxy, soon to start MTX, which I am apprehensive of, both side effects and unexpected unwelcome surprises i should be ready for.

Been on both for over 20 years. No problems. Just keep up with your blood tests and anything potentially untoward will be spotted before it happens. Sorry, in a rush.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I was on both for over 10 years, methotrexate was like a miracle drug for me & no side effects but I would agree with stickywicket to make sure you keep up to date with your blood tests so if anything dodgy is going on it will be spotted quickly, it’s reassurance for you too.
I would also say how important it is to stick to the dosage given & speak to Rheumatology if you have any problems or concerns. It’s all about limiting the progression of the disease & the longer you can keep that from happening the better.
Good luck, hope you get on well.
