anyone got experience of Capsaicin patches pls?

Wondering if the patches are a better bet, as am terrified of touching the cream after application and found it was still burning me the next day. The cream does not seem to seep in which is what i expected. Has anyone got any other recommendations.

thank you for that Chris, so the GP cannot just prescribe them for me then.
