Flexiseq is quite good pain relief, I have used it many times for my osteoarthritis.

Have recently bought a tube of this and it does give me some relief especially on my hands and feet. It is expensive and dont know if you can get it on prescription? I love in Scotland so prescriptions are free here so I might ask my GP if it could be prescribed

My friend who has OA of her knees swears by it!

Do take a look at Capsaicin Cream which can be obtained on prescription via your GP:
We also hold information regarding flexiseq

I was prescribed 0.025% capsaicin cream on prescription last year by a pain management consultant and can recommend it. I use it on my shoulders and knee and can feel the benefit, particularly on my knee. Unfortunately it hasn't been available recently - though my pharmacist phoned me yesterday to say it is now available again. I saw a new rheumatologist last month and he has decided I should try the stronger version 0.075% particularly for my lower back and my knee so I'm just waiting for the prescription to be delivered.
In the meantime I found a recipe online to make my own and that's what I'm using just now. It's different in that it appears to work a bit more like a Deep Heat type of rub by giving a low level warmth feeling to the areas I put it on. The only downside of my home made recipe is I've noticed it slightly stains the tubigrip I put on my knee - but the stain washes out.
