Elfie had the call of the open road then 😂 how is his parking? Am expecting treeman midday so it will be raining unfortunately, can I get away with standing on the doorstep and pointing vaguely 😬. Nothing else planned for today except postbox maybe and feed the birds etc - maybe Kitty spotted something interesting (not a kittiwake probably!), not to say ofc that my robins etc aren't interesting 😘 hope you have a pair somewhere and just saw one. Yes I got through my admin ta and started messing around making a virtual machine on my laptop, I've done it before but got in a tangle with it this time 😱. Have a good day and safe trip 👍 xx

Hope all's well with @frogmorton in her home from home with her 'gnome from home' 🤭. Sleek good as gold although we may have been grumbling about the weather, we have been poking things into our al fresco basket 🍎🍇🥦 (not all quite as virtuous as those things 😉). Did I tell you Mr B is very bold and friendly, he hardly moves away when I take food to him and when he heard I was out there yesterday came to the fence outside the back door to get me 😊. Hello Joan, yes the tree person was here on the dot and missed the rain and wind, just! You were right though there wasn't a drop of sun to be had all day. Will speak to him again about actually booking in assuming quote is ok. What things do you mean you want to shut down, is it programmes that stop your tablet closing down or tabs you don't want 🤔. I only ever hibernate my laptop so I forget about shutdown procedures. We'd all want to know what's going on with you at Drs etc, like you would if it was us. Sorry to hear about the MRI results, do you mean the hosp recommend the steroid, but you know your Dr disagrees with them about whether you should. Let us know any updates won't you 😘. xx

Hi to bosh, sorry about trying to help between your mum and dad and not being thanked for it 🙄, sometimes you 'can't do right for doing wrong' as they say 😔. Hope your mum is doing ok anyway and the sleep is doing her good. Oh treats for 'virtuous' Bill's, I see, nice work if you can get it 🤨. I will be glad to get to bed tonight it has been a long day. I have an annoying sore place on my tongue that I get because I have a sharp tooth and apparently I like chewing myself in the night, anyone would think I have some vampire nurse blood 😱 let's see what I can do by tomorrow 🤐. It was decidedly ookey here this morning,

So much so that I didn’t even attempt a walk, as a cold would be the last thing I needed

I’ve been eating in what I’d call a fairly normal way today, so no very strong junk food urges that I gave into, which was good, so that form of stress - related symptom seems to be dying down 👍

But dad started such a terrible argument with me in the kitchen that I had to eat my lunch in two stages, the second one being about 4 pm🤷‍♀️

But at least things are getting better on the whole thanks Toni🙏

mum is still sleeping a lot to catch up with the hospital- insomnia and she’s still a bit cranky - but who wouldn’t be, of course, in that situation? - but yes you’re right, she’s doing very well indeed in general

A long time ago I had this terrible office job in London, the only perk was free tea and tea - related supplies for the people who got to work early enough, I had to travel a long distance to get there, so I didn’t always get in early, but when I did someone had been petty enough to finish all the skimmed and semi - skimmed, all that was left was whole milk - which I absolutely disgusting 🤢

Mxt yucky, I am tired today, but probably part mxt part thermostat - of course- and part the stress to put it accurately haha

Hope all is well with you and Sleek wasn't too grumpy? We were back by lunchtime she seemed ok with us which is a relief. As you know after 'proper' holidays she is capable of withholding her purr. We stayed at one of the sites we have frequented before it's a good one and fairly close by just enough to test everything is still working. It isn't 😣

The wind did come but we were already well on our way home and had managed a short walk before we left. I am glad don't like being in a high sided vehicle in the wind much. Especially with Elfie driving😁 How's his parking? Hmmm🤔 mm ok forwards not so good backwards😂 Gnome from gnome!!! Very good Toad!

Don't worry my robins are normally a couple, just only one came calling in my 'window' for BBW. I wonder how it went this year overall. I will be interested to hear given the lack of insects last 'summer'.

Hi all 👋 well my day has been full of irritations, how about you 😂 one good trouble-free day yesterday, well it couldn't last.

Same with you frog if the campervan is not aok 😣 obviously it got you back hope it's nothing major, glad everything alright otherwise, as far as the important things like not being snubbed by Sleek. Glad the wind was not too awful, there was a few hours' worth today but actually the 'light' (heavy!) rain last night was far worse 🙄 kept me awake, it had to be tea at one point. I have been moving my shopping slot all over the place (no soya; no point me having it without as it's one of the key things I go there for). For some reason their 'suggestions for me' were boneless salmon fillets, wonder where they got that idea from 🤔😸. Have not got much done today I seem to have mostly spent it being pestered for OTP codes online.. 404s.. oops something went wrong.. oh & one of my debit cards has expired.. phone providers want me to make a chargeable text or else, nag nag blah blah 😕. Ugh. Virtual machines, well basically it's like having a 'guest' operating system within your own, so you can for example test a different OS maybe to see if you like it, or have reasons to want to keep an older 'windows' etc. You pick a software that provides the basics and set it up from there, I was up to trial run 13 before I got anywhere at all, definitely one of those things where you know if you don't see daylight at the vital moment, the whole thought process will get away from you 🤪. At least my new phone worked well over the long call yesterday so it's thumbs up for that anyway 👍️. Elfie is having a nice sit down I see and I hope to do much the same tomorrow mostly. Oh the tree quote is more than I hoped which is a bit annoying 😣 not sure what to do there, I did have a very cheap person before so maybe I'm behind the times now for the going rate. Hello Joan, is this the sort of thing you see on your screen I've just tried mine, but yours probably a bit different maybe 🤔. That's what mine says if I try to shut down with things open, I usually then just click the bit that says Force Shut Down and it will do it for me, unless there's any particular reason I don't want it to (like I'm writing a letter and I know I haven't saved it). Or yes you can cancel the shutdown and go back see what's open, my open programs will be down the bottom of the screen along the bar I click them back up again & check. Hope your day has been ok, yes lots of damp looking days coming up but at least some of them are just drizzle I hope. Take care love to the dogs :) xx

Hi bosh I'm fine thanks having a quiet day. I only make calls on the landline really I tend to shout if I'm on the mobile because I can never seem to hear as well as on a 'proper phone' so I assume people can't hear me 😂 never used the speakerphone on anything. The last thing you want with phantom neighbours is to be shouting on the telephone 😬. I'm just not really a mobile sort of person, like I was saying to Toni, my provider is always trying to turn me off for not making recent enough calls etc 🙄. I use mine for browsing that one doesn't have a sim, and I use the one with a sim for just bank codes and if firms absolutely insist on a number. I do hope the rows are settling a bit for you 😔 and you have a better day. My tooth is ok thanks well it probably would like to be looked at ideally, but it just happens to have a sharp bit, not a break or chip. I have got one that sugar or the cold gives a bit of a twinge a bit like yours but I try not to think about that 😬 perhaps not those chunky cookies just in case.
