I can't imagine much nicer than being in your bunker, music playing, nice coffee within reach and rain on the roof😊 Some of my favourite times when we are in the motorhomes are rainy days😊

Don't worry too much about my eyesight it's just reading although I fell and banged my head last winter and id something to one of my eyes something detached which luckily didn't pull off the retina. Did you miss that? You might have done.

I actually feel sorry for BB now! The poor man I hope they got his car started easily and he didn't get too cold. My worst nightmare that is. Does he not keep a blanket in his car? Oh dear that is silly everyone should have one and I keep a little snack too. Ah I just read he got home safely did he tell you what was wrong? I hope it won't happen again.

Non-vegan fish fingers are pretty vile - I've tried them they are horrendous🤢 all vegan attempts at fish are even the best. Stick to actual cod if you want them that's my advice to all non-vegans.

Poor Bridget being mistaken for a Granny! Ooops! and going to school in her jammies I can totally imagine it though😁 I am glad you had a good time.

That is a smashing job you've done on the little cupboard! I think it's looking very well prepared corners are both good. Sleek reckons she helped with the sanding. Is that so? Just removed a cat hair from right eyelid! Remember that when it comes to painting/varnishing😉

I am glad to hear yesterday was much less eggs-orsting we all need recovery days like that except if it's jab day. Does it make you feel a bit off it like MTX? I do hope not.

Reconstructing my post wasn't too hard it was locating the pictures again which took time as you can imagine and you really had to see the cake didn't you? Apparently Elfie shares his Daddy's birthday and his own is 8th December. We mustn't forget.

I do hope you get some time oustide - I won't I'll be trapped over a few towns away waiting for the Fig. If he needs her overnight my friend will take me home. A lovely day for driving over there though😊

Morning Jojo I am so glad your back is easing off now just be careful one false move can easily put you back to square one. You are amazing though going back to work I am so impressed. Muscle spasms in the back are just agony, but usually the 3 day rule does seem to be about right. Most people see improvement after about that length of time. No idea why I presumed that the muscles relax. I remember husband getting it once gosh he wanted an ambulance I managed to get him to rest for 3 days it worked. Bless him that's when he understood the pain in my back. Please be careful and keep your patches on rest when you can ((())) xxx

Morning Stuart that crocus is gorgeous I love it.😊 Your compost is it the fluffy peat free stuff? There is something not so great about peat free compost. Last year I made my own in the composter, but wouldn't want it indoors (for starting off seeds) as it was full of (good) creatures. My tomatoes and cucumbers were however fantastic last year very very tasty I used it in their reusable growbags. Have you got a date for your next injection BTW? (())

Was Skinny Keef in yesterday? I can't find a post from him, but of course it might be there. I hope you are well if you get in today and that you were out on one of the bikes enjoying the lovely weather we had yesterday

Keef the Fig sounds great now, but will go back in April for more surgery pre-mot. There may be an oil leak on the sump and also the transmission oil needs draining and a new filter put in it's not very healthy looking.

Oh dear poor poor BB!😣 now he has a new battery he should be fine. colder weather tends to drain them as does mostly doing short journeys which is probably him most of the time. Every now and then I send Paul off in my car for a proper run. I bet your Dad still won't add a blanket/coat snack or some water to his supplies even now🙄

So sorry about the post not actually posting hope I didn't worry anyone/you. I thought it had gone, but clearly not. I had to leave early to get the Fig to the garage for 8. There was another Fig there far more poorly Penelope runs like a dream now and sounds so quiet! One or two jobs to do in future which he will look at pre-MOT in April. Also called in where she had her paintwork done they are going to touch up one or two little stone chips for me next week.

Will need to catch up properly, but hope all is going well making progress and getting outside yesterday.

I helped my friend disconnect her washer ready for a new one - just what she didn't need. We had a game with the stop cock stopping the water. Managed in the end. Today the new one arrives and she has to re-attach but the WD40 should have helped 🤞 she can't afford to let them do it for her unfortunately. Also she is very determined.

Morning Joan I totally agree Penelope is worth every penny. She's going in on Monday for her paintwork to be sorted. I took one of the Foster Dads out in her yesterday - he was impressed how much attention we got! Lucky Brenda off on her hols we go next week on Sunday. A chap I worked with who had a learning disability had a brain tumour like that - not dangerous (I mean cancerous) slow growing, but they can come back so must be monitored. A meningioma that was it! Take acre I hope Brenda's results are good ((())) xxx

Morning Jojo I totally understand how you feel about upsetting your children with your pain. When I eventually had back surgery mine were 5 and 8 I was a single parent. They were wonderful Charley (8) used to pass my knickers and trousers up my legs for me to reach and she put my socks on. They are amazing She said it was fine and she didn't mind at all. Still she does now work in care….

Went out in the Fig yesterday, roof down with one of the foster carers - he loved it. Perfect day for a Figgy ride it was. We also managed a nice walk without the babies they are both in respite for the weekend.

Paintwork being touched up next week a stone chip (or two😣) soon sorted apparently and they still have the paint.

Hope you got out on one of the bikes yesterday and were well enough to enjoy it. ((())) xxx

Morning Stuart how are you doing? I got in the garden yesterday afternoon. Not sure what to do someone gave me some alliums beautiful purple sensation for Christmas, but they are toxic to cats so no good for me. I need to rehome them……we all have cats in our family🙄 (())

How frustrating people on rooves when you want to get outside. I managed an hour out there yesterday which was just lovely what with that and a ride out in my Figgy I had the best day and my mental health really benefitted. Elfie wanted to come on our holiday next week, but I said perhaps not because if my case goes missing at the airport he could be lost forever and anyway Sleek needs him. He can come in the motorhome when we go to France in the summer.

So just a tad iffy after your jab but not in the league of MTX. That's good and it helps that really is the main thing.

I was given some allium purple sensation for Christmas by a friend but they are toxic to cats so what can i do with them?!!🙄 We all have cats in our family. I wondered about potting them and taking them to the village plant sale later on this year?🤔 I mean they are gorgeous aren't they?

I need to get some seeds planted too well done for doing yours.

Oh that apple turnover! Sleek was in heaven she was smiling for ear to ear when she got home
