Hi all 🌞 I started this before 9am would you believe 😳 had plenty to do today but then had a batch of such tedious stuff in the post that I though blow this and went to town instead.

Nice morning for you to take Penelope frog but not nice in any other sense, ie parting with her (and cash at the end of it) 😔 and craft group as well oh dear 😬. Good luck with everything. As above, I nipped into town and got rid of some recycling, also to Piddle so I'm afraid I have sinned 😬 but only to the tune of a super little rosemary in a nice terracotta pot. And some other 'midl' bits & bobs. Picked up a new toad trowel, somewhere else, too 👍️ it was really quite hot and even carrying only a little shopping seems to make me droop and feel the heat, I was probably over warmly dressed, but even so it does annoy me to see things I'd like to buy but can't carry 🙄. I doubt I'll get a lot done today now but might fit in a bit of weeding and whatnot maybe. Seeds below 😊 now the tricky bit for me, looking after them. Don't worry about bench outside he's mostly inside, an end here a slat there, some in the garage 😂 no room in the house is safe from a project, the cupboard door was mostly done in the upstairs bedroom with best light, doesn't everyone? Look forward to Elfie's 'party piece' 😄 dare I click on that link or will I get the tune stuck? 🤔 I'll give it a go. Yes of course Sleek is my special friend as she knows, we are BFFs 😽. Awful that you lost your luggage on those occasions 😥 parents' nightmare, and the airplane one must have been a nightmare 😣. Hope everyone well today, love to all 😘 xx

Hello Joan, hope Brenda's flight went smoothly and everything going to plan for her 🤞. Such a nice day, I was too hot in town my coat was the wrong weight ended up carrying it 🙄. No-one knows what to wear yet there was just a mix of padded jackets and people in tshirts. I bought myself a little trowel for £1.99 I can't find my other, some things like that are still cheap and much better value than online I hate paying the postage especially as Royal Mail are not really in my good books these days. Quick hello to bosh in case I pop in again later. Bag of cardigans I like it 😄 I got my layers totally wrong today it has been still such frosty mornings I though I would still need at least my mid-weight jacket. Felt too hot and had to walk the long way home anyway because that is the route with some benches, had a sit down and a k*tk*t to buck me up a bit. Hate feeling I need to but my shopping was a bit too heavy really. There was quite a lot of 'talking to self' out today I must say one way & another 😂. Glad your own shopping was ok 👍️ hope you've dispelled the headache now. I do like the sound of LA's story I must say if not too scary it sounds very imaginative. Hope the rest of your day is ok :) xx

Stuart well done for contemplating your lawn someone has literally just set off here, afraid I have to say I hate the noise of motor mowers because from here on it will be someone or another all the time, and strimming. Wish everyone would agree to do theirs all the same day you could get it over with 😣. Anything interesting coming up in the garden? xx

Hi Jojo, my day was good yesterday thanks and today not too bad just a bit annoying that I found my walk back from the shops quite tiring, it's not like I try to carry things that are a ton weight 🙄 I don't particularly wish I had a car but I do wish you could just send your shopping home by magic, otherwise you can't really do anything else once you've got bags on you. Nice that your kids like card games 😀 hope you have a better weekend :) xx

Good luck with the physio Jojo! 👍️ There are still some other non-drivers then, it does put a bit of a spoke in some things. Thanks I'm usually ok walking the same sort of distance (about 2 and a half miles) but it definitely seems to be a combination of being hot and carrying shopping, I also maybe tried to fit in a few too many errands - have to cut your coat according to your cloth I suppose 🙄. Used to use buses and taxis more of course but don't fancy it ever since covid. I do have grocery deliveries it's nice to pick up a few of your own things though. How far is your school walk? Toni, dad is bullying mum a lot, not physically but by making extra nasty comments and not caring about her med side effects like feeling dizzy, as everyone knows there are many types of abuse and I sometimes just wish this would end, but my mum doesn’t believe in divorce due to her upbringing, well maybe she’ll soon see the littleys (Beruvio and the flattener, or something like that, lol) that will cheer her up

I may pay toady in cheesy kale and cauliflower pasta but it’s quite expensive so not a cost effective strategy- oh dear I may need to play the online maths game - mind you when it comes to maths I fear I may be a hopeless case these days lol

Mental Health tips always seem to mention self care like nice foot cream etc, but it costs more than toady’s mansion!

Morning all 🌞 sun woke me up didn't seem worth getting to sleep again so an early tea round half six ☕.

Morning frog hope you have a nice straightforward day today and maybe look at your seed catalogue 😊🌱. Mine are little dears aren't they thanks, they will be well ahead of anything else I think, most of their fellow seed trays have things in of the slow erratic germination type 😬 we'll see. I can't excuse much seed buying so that will be a saving 👍. Hope you have enough left after Penelope's bill for a packet of mustard & cress 😬 can't be helped and September is ample time for her to be preened to perfection 👍. I will get on with Bench again now I will need him if it's going to stay like this nothing else to sit on! seems strange right after such cold days, I really did get my clothing wrong yesterday just didn't gauge it right at all. Reshmi too apparently. Have a nice walk if you are going round now I expect, that's a very nice breakfast haven't had asparagus in I don't know how long. The biccie cupboard has been restocked and is of course at your disposal in perpetuity or whatever the legal term is. No rent rises 👍. That pasta does sound very nice though 😊. Oh the Coddy shop I can't tell you how much I used to love them in 'the early days' some of their things were huge favourites of mine. Everything changes though and somehow I don't really buy from them these days, they indeed aren't exactly cheap also I don't have a nearby store and browsing in person was half the fun. Still it is all nice stuff must have a look online sometime again 😊 if there is anything left in today's purse, ooh I do like that 😍. I noticed you were boiled in your coat yesterday the same as me and had to walk extra 😣 perhaps we'll get it right next time. xx

Hi frogmorton the physio appointment was for my arthritis they checked my knees and it was just first assessment so just asking questions about my arthritis he said he's going to go though my blood test results I had done a while back and talk to his colleague and see if I need to be referred to a specialist. How are you doing this morning hope you Have a good day.

how did the grass cutting go Stuart?

Stone chips are a pain, and fiddly to do properly Toni. My Beemer has an oil cooler right under the headlamp and when I’m away I always carry a tube of metal epoxy in case a stone goes through it. BMW say not to put a mesh guard over it because it can affect cooling.
Warwick II is all fixed and sounding good.

Hi all 👋 my day kind of went downhill after that early start, was looking forward to various jobs and gardening etc but everyone started off with DIY to the front and back and every direction so it seemed 🙄 so offputting. Got out of it for a while by taking the scooter with some things for the tip but could have done without it. At least the walk/scootering went ok got my clothing correct today 👍️ so my energy levels aren't completely I guess.

I don't have a trolley thanks for the idea and thinking of me though Joan, I wouldn't mind one but I feel they would be awkward to take into shops. Maybe some fold up 🤔 but then once you have bought some things you couldn't do that. I took the scooter with me today with a bag of heavy things for the tip and that works well you aren't taking any weight. The scooter folds right up and I can carry it by a shoulder strap 👍️. Yes it's a lovely plant someone else would have it now and not me so it was a good thing 😊 when I go next time I'll remember to not buy more than I can carry and I'll be fine. Hope your day has been good the sun is so nice :) xx

That sounds good at the physio Jojo it sounds like they are giving things the right amount of attention, how are your knees for swelling etc is that what they are looking for or mostly painful? Hope you hear something useful back 👍️. I just went out quickly with my scooter (like a kick scooter not a moped) I ride it where it's quiet if there are people I wheel it and they probably think I'm taking it home for my grandchild or something so don't give me odd looks 🤭. There was a nice breeze it was a better walk after yesterday. Have a good day tomorrow :) xx

Hi bosh, why does that egg cake seem so odd when cakes have eggs in their mixture it's not like they're just savoury 🤷‍♀️ maybe it's the icing 😄. Hope your day has not been too bad I have not done much 😳 but the neighbours were being annoying, not the phantoms just everyone else 😒. Definitely warm I went with the slightly padded knitted hoody type thing today and a tshirt that seemed enough really. Hard to adjust after scarves and gloves etc. Have a good night :) xx

I potted up those lovely alliums yesterday and will put them in the village garden sale by which time they will be sprouting nicely. Managed to cut some more back so things are coming along. Perhaps I am avoiding packing🤔 actually that's probably not perhaps😳
