knee revision due to loose replacement

Hi I hope someone can help and have possibly been through the same as I'm going through...I had a knee replacement almost 3 years ago from a partial to a total and was given the news 3 weeks ago it has come loose quite severely and is at an angle and the lower pin is in danger of perforating my tibia so I have to go in and have a bigger surgery and they have said its a big operation I'm facing so I'm so scared and in so much pain

    It must be very frustrating for you to be faced with another operation.

    There may well be other forum members who have found themselves in a similar situation and can provide you with some comfort and support.
