Morning Toady

I hardly got outside myself yesterday - what did I do? Please tell me!! I know I emptied out all the bedding towels T towels spare toiletries from teh motorhome ready for it to have it's treatment in the boot (garage? explain that name I haven't got car in there!) today.

I helped the Foster Dads make easter bonnets for the children for nursery.

I did hoover round and clear up some mole hills too and study my seeds a lot, but surely that wasn't a whole day?

It's 'Ron biggis' compost mine peat free sounds as bad as the Piddle stuff is Toad. I just have to keep on top of it. I've been adding extra fertilizer too it and would like to add some leaf mould like Monty did last night (no I am not really up to date but Paul was late home so watched it out of sequence!) if i knew where it was. I suspect Paul has binned it.

A compromise is indeed the answer one day (she says) we will have so much energy we will be super-gardeners. Our houses will keep themselves clean, someone else will cook our meals and bring them to us. Then we will be like Monty and Carol and Sarah R. Until then it's compromise.

Little Vi has a big sister now to keep her company! Oh an idea💡 Send Sleek round to the lady's house with her phone she can video for you! How about that?! That should do it😊

Morning Jojo Whitley Bay! That will be lovely - all kids need is a beach and some half decent weather isn't it? We used to go to Wales and rent a caravan a lot when ours were really little as we are in the Midlands so it was the nearest sea to here. Hope the cold is even better today ((())) xxx PS thank you for putting yout sp***r photos up like that so I don't accidentally see them. I am very sacred of them even the fairly small ones we get here sorry. My Eldest and her wife would love them though.

Good news is the wind seems to have dropped here this morning it feels cold obviously (very frosty here) but so sunny I put the dishwasher on already to use the solar panel power on not pay for it!

We took Lucy to Dubai for her 21st birthday (and a reward for getting over cancer and all her surgeries too) I really did not like it at all it was ludicrously not. We went new year or just after they had beautiful lights and fireworks and everyone was lovely but gosh it was HOT!!!! No air at all except inside the buildings. The Burg Khalifa was incredible too we loved that and had a meal there watching the 'dancing lights'.

I do hope little BR copes ok with his skin.

Morning Toady

Seaweed seems to really help my plants so maybe yes we could try it. I have tried the omega 3 algae jellies did I tell you? gross!!!!!!! I was retching🤢 nope so happy to stand in the stuff but i can't drink it! Why do we achieve so much less than we hope? Is it an age thing or did I always have less time am I imagining a halcyon time when I was superwoman?

Are you and I the only ones cold free here? Stuart too I think at least so far. Perhaps touching soil does help us like I think it does.

I was tidying up a border yesterday with Sleek's help although she did swipe my paw when I was in 'her' cat mint😯 She appologised later said she has no idea what comes over her with that stuff. Have you got any for her? She loves it, but i have it with the salvia and lavender to stop the wild rabbits getting too close to my veggies. Also the bees and butterflies love it😊

I'll get Sleek a copy of Reshmi's ladybird book that will put the idea in her head to peep into the plant lady's garden! That should work - I bet she has 3 greenhouses.

Penelope does indeed live indoors she has two of Paul's cars in there with her and is very happy I'll take a photo later so you can see. Today we are going up to Stoke to see my friend Paul is going to Hednesford raceway. Take care Toady ((())) xxx
