Hi,

Old meds stopped working so now on Tocilizumab weekly injections, more of a hassle that tablet twice a day so planning for travel. Has anyone used the Frio water cooler bags for your injectables. They look easy and discreet for travel so any feedback welcome😁Thanks Mary

    Hi @mhellis

I have been on tocilizumab for close to 10 years now, and can confirm that travelling with the medication can be a hassle. I have never used the Frio cooler bag but I have a similar small medication bag that I got from Amazon, it has a space for an ice pack which I keep in the freezer until I need to use it. The ice pack keeps my tocilizumab cool for when I'm travelling, and I just make sure to put my tocilizumab injection straight into the fridge when I get to my destination. I have not had any issues with going through security in the airport with it.
