I may borrow one to hit nasty M over the head with, if required

Thanks about the wheat bags, usually my back just gets better with sleep and paracetamol but I’ll bear that in mind if the pain gets bad

Vc poem called “ bosh has a good day. The magpies have not come out to play”
Every day when I walk past magpie corner, a bird tries to deposit “ook” on my head
I have 16 hairclips, and I wish I could have stayed in my bed
I somehow find the golden seat at cost a packet, but they’ve run out of toast
Even the Toady Grey tea is absent the teabags. I really love the most.
Morning Ireland, from such a deep sleep, that all is well in the land of bosh
The magpies just to let out a scared “cheep”
And I breakfast on dates from Dubai soaked in a syrup pot so deep
Chocolate won’t rot my teeth today, the dental gods are happy and kind
And even LA gets on with his maths homework without ice cream on his mind

Gosh that does sound like a sweetie shop! I bet the boys loved it. Are they having a wonderful time and when do they come home? Dates though are fabulous especially the medjool ones (sp) Kari filled some with peanut butter for Christmas they were delectable😋

Yes if they could bring you back a large fake lollipop I can think of several uses for it including bopping nasty people, hiding behind it when needed and finally getting a part time job as a lollipop person.

It's hardly your fault if the pharmacy give you your meds at the wrong dosage so no one should be cross with you. Kari is getting hers sorted now she's spotted the mistake. These medications though, as you well understand, are very very powerful so it is sensible to be extra vigilant. I know Kari will thoroughly read her labels in future.

Glad you got out I hope you enjoyed the sunshine. I think today (if it rains) is a better day for preparing the house for workmen. Bless you you have my sympathy Sleek is coming over with her duster later and plans to leave her overalls with you ready. Has she left a lot of stuff at yours? Have you supplied her with her own cupboard yet? If not maybe that is a good idea.

We went to Goodwood yesterday for the car racing it was a great day Elfie came for the ride. Crikey his singing😣 our ears!!! This was him asleep on the way home. We left at 5am back at 10pm so a long day for an 8 year-old.

This was him on the way up looking out of the window in the van waving to small children he was. Oh dear me.

Hi frogmorton I've got some new trainers they have memeroy foam in so hopefully it will help ease the pain and I'm taking my painkillers regularly it's better today than they have been I'm in less pain so hopefully it's helping. I hope you are well and I hope you have a great day.

Hi all 👋 rain forecast for me but not doing much which is a blessing as have had outdoor stuff to do; they have relented on tomorrow's forecast too, if they stick to it 🤞

Yes I certainly saw Elfie's lovely seed tray frog do make sure he knows 😊 even if I'm sketchy this week as to posting I will be reading, it will be a welcome distraction as always 👍️. Elfie sleeping on the way home with his little hands tucked under his cheek is the sweetest thing bless him 😘 ah, the singing, you couldn't dampen his enthusiasm though could you, wouldn't have the heart 😄. Glad it was a good if long day. Quiet Sunday today maybe? I have indeed allotted Sleek a nice low level cupboard and it is very bolstering to the spirit to see her overalls hanging up. Workmen not tomorrow but some unconfirmed day mid-week on, & then for ever after, or thereabouts 😱 I will post more when it's all over. Thank you about my seedlings, some of things were up & doing already so not all that many brand new, but I do have a couple of hopefuls I was inspecting by torchlight & reading specs last night like you do, as they will be a first for me, will see how they go. I shouldn't have too many tomatoes, but I will end up with 'excess wallflowers', 20 little plants so far, what now - do I leave some on the plant lady's doorstep, please look after these orphans 😂. Hope Kari is doing ok - because of all the unpopular changes at nosegay people are discussing various alternatives, someone posted how bad 'betsy' is and I know you have said this but it was a thousand times worse than I even thought 😮 gosh, dreadful it sounds! Hello Joan good to see both your posts. Workmen are not here tomorrow (thank you for the good wishes) soon though, I will just be tidying up, they need to be various places so I can't fall back on my usual tactic of stuffing everything out of sight in other rooms 🙄. Thank you about my tulip and seedlings I am a bit behind but it's better not to take on too much, I have learnt that lesson, finally. Glad the icecream was nice hope we get some more weather for it 🌞 doesn't look too awful a forecast but more rain than I would like. Oh Charlie has discharged himself then were they not pleased about that 😬 I hope he can see someone else soon and it helps. You'd think he would slow his speaking down a little bit knowing he has a rather broad accent 🏴 it is awkward, I hate saying pardon to people. Have a good new week hope Pepper is doing alright 😘 xx

Hi bosh, hope I haven't missed too much, just re-reading your poem 👍️. Oh dear yes the magpies I remember you mentioning, you are meant to say things to magpies apparently like 'Good morning Mr Magpie how is Mrs Magpie' but etiquette is probably not your top priority on magpie corner is it 😬. I suspect the phantom neighbour may have gone on holiday which is annoying because this was my opportunity to make workmen related noises and annoy them for a change 😉 how inconsiderate, no revenge for this sorceress 😕. Good hairdo pics, the broomstick hair one was funny, actually it's the broom twigs themselves that most closely resemble mine 😂. Hope your day is ok I will catch up in the week but if I'm not in I'm giving workmen terrible looks & muttering under my breath, any lifestyle advice welcome haha. Take care glad EF ok 👋 xx

Hope things ok with you today SK 👋 and not paying for your day out. That sounds a nice picnic and glad you had the weather for the air displays. Not my thing as such but I did see the Avro Vulcan over Weston many years ago (pre its final flight even). Do you have pics?
