Lumber faecet joint arthritis new sleeping position

Hi everyone,

I was diagnosed with faecet joint arthritis and degenerative disc disease last year aged 40.

I'm finding I wake up on my back more frequently now. Always used to be a front sleeper but predominantly side now.

But I'm now not only waking up on my back, but on my back with my knees in the air.

Has anyone else got the same condition and sleeping changes?

    Hi @abee

Thanks for posting - it sounds like when your asleep your body is naturally putting itself in a comfortable position. I hope other members post if they can relate.

In the meantime here some info about Sleep | Improving your sleep when you have arthritis.

    Best wishes
