Hello @fReedom I think the stock answer is probably fibre, but worth asking at your GP/pharmacy for advice. See the following.
Hope it helps

@fReedom If you have no allergies, Tesco organic porridge oats (cheap). Avoid the instant porridge (expensive), it will spike your blood sugar. Alternatively slavic shops have buckwheat, cooked same as porridge, but with just water, 15min hot simmer. https://youtu.be/p_D9C0mhBg4
Healthy porridge takes overnight soak or at least some hours, Pret does it but it’s pricey. Tesco & Sainsbury are inexpensive and fine. Sainsbury sell an original slavic buckwheat. It’s a favourite slavic granny thing to buy loads of in hard times as it contains all the essentials. You need oats with beta glucan all there.
Fruit - In moderation due to the high sugar content
dates, prunes papaya & pineapple - latter 2 good after a meal as they contain digestive enzymes.
Kiwi
Avoid dairy or painkillers as they slow down intestinal movement.
Salads will surprisingly give you constipation unless accompanied by olive oil, pref extra virgin.
Hope that helps

Forgot to mention, some people like me are sensitive to white wine, where it acts like a pleasant gentle laxative… helping things along like olive oil. Red does not have this particular property. 😄 Mediterranean diet has a lot going for it!
