morning everyone.
Beemer race bike is sorted. I found a thread on another forum relating to exactly my bike and how to set the suspension for Skinnies and tried the settings expecting it to be interweb rubbish but it worked and I had a fantastic ride around my favourite back lanes yesterday evening with the bikes actually floating over the bumps like it should rather than bashing my spine about, I had THE biggest smile on my face as I was thinking I would have to sell it if I couldn’t manage to sort it.

LA was jealous of BR during their brief holiday here in tropical Reading so this inspired the following poem,thanks,
Vc poem called “BR is not a good boy” or “I never wanted a little brother, I just wanted another cobra vampire nurse hybrid toy”

Yes BR never watches tv when it’s ablutions -time
But does he know that lemonade is made with sugar and lemons, not lime?
Does he know that I’ve been ordering cheese sandwiches from granny since when he was still in the skies?
Does he how to order takeaway chicken nuggets and fries?
Does he fully realise that daddy likes coffee and mima likes tea?
And does he understand that I am the senior brother in the whole family?
In fact they call me LA the Abbot of the most senior designation
I need to stop mere postulant BR from getting ideas above his station

I'm so sorry to hear that skinny keef I really hope your pain levels come down for you I dread to think how different I might be tomorrow with way to much energy today especially with work tomorrow. But we will see tomorrow and deal with what ever life throws at us. Take care tomorrow is a new day.

Quite a long day for me got in around 8pm but yes I had a nice time thanks all (what passes for a nice time for me these days 😬 it's a funny old thing socialising compared to what it was once, but as good as it gets 👍️). It was a one large hairclip 2 mini grips day if you are keeping track bosh 😂 and yes in the end a totally different shirt as predicted, Netfl*x can help themselves to that plot line with my blessing. Proper poem comment tomorrow but I just wanted to say that when I read the bit about abbots and postulants I did think, well the new Pope has two older brothers, just imagine!! 😬. my word it’s a warm one here today. Rode Beemer to park as I was too bad to walk to watch Sucré on his new push bike. He is a whizz on a balance bike (no pedals), but is struggling with the bigger heavier bike and trying to pedal himself along. Loses patience very quickly.

Quick funny story, I met two of my friends who ride the trails on their off road bikes. I would join them but no waymy back will take it, so I meet up halfway round somewhere and have a coffee and chat for half hour. Now as you all know I have a blue badge for parking but I never take up a disabled space just for my bike unless it is unavoidable, well as there were 3 bikes in total I invited them to share my space, which they did. As we were walking in, me at the front, I’d just got to the door of the café and a lady in a car stopped and shouted, “Why are you lot parked in an inavlidity space?.. she had a rather angry tone. The other two stepped to the side to reveal me hobbling along with my stick and I said, “Because I am an invalid, and I have a blue badge!” It was so funny, she just kind of sunk down in her seat whilst my two were laughing and drove off. I wonder what she thought or if she told any one ha ha.

Poor frog on the M5 with no facilities handy 😱 well never quite as handy as one would like, hope 'Mafeking was relieved' without too much more crossing of legs 😬. Hope you are having a lovely visit and good to hear Elfie is being sensible in the sun 🌞 it's warmer than yesterday here. I picked the right day to go out I think 👍️ we are forecast a little bit of rain though no sign of it, but either way (given there was some walking involved) drizzly or too hot would not have been ideal. Yes 8pm a bit late didn't help that my watch was losing time 🙄 I might have excused myself a bit sooner otherwise, nice to catch up though and must try not to leave it so long again. I will be thinking of you tomorrow, lots and lots of love to Sleek 😽😘 xx

Hello Joan, yes rain here they reckon and thundery showers tomorrow, it does seem likely, it's humid feeling. Thank you I think it was the nicest day I could have picked for my friend just enough cloud so not too hot for walking I am far too pale to be in the sun much 😱. I have to send a parcel tomorrow I was lucky they bought it yesterday because they know you can't post Sunday so I didn't have to pack it 👍️. Hope Charlie had a good trip back and is ok, have a good afternoon love to Pepper 😘 xx

Hi bosh, just re-reading your poem, I love the tone, the disdain of the lofty LA 😂 yes I can believe that's what his first words were as well. Hope the rest of your day goes ok, I am not doing much I was just trying to book an appt with 'LensSpenders' 🤓 but it was not straightforward and I fear they are going to tell me to go to the bigger branch in the next town 🙄. Lovely lion, that's what you call a mane isn't it 😍 but I volunteer not to be the one to get those rollers out if they get tangled 😱. Good story Keef there is a lot of that goes on with blue badges 🙄 I don't know why people call others out on it you could be setting yourself up for all sorts of embarrassment like your lady driver. Good luck to Sucré with the bike, he will 'get it' all at once 👍️ I remember learning, we had a not big but long garden back then, so I was able to do all my falling into the shrubbery at home 😂.Have a good evening :) xx
