Hey Toady, Niff is a lot better thanks. Sucré and I spoke to her on the fone earlier. She is planning a picnic for us tomorrow as her flat is between tenants and she wants to check it out so she is taking an indoor picnic for us to meet her. Sucré loves a picnic anywhere.

Morning Joan how are you and Pepper doing. Glad Charlie has at least got hot water lucky it's warm atm! As you know not the best news, but Sleek will be just fine I will do my best with the medication and at least try to get her to eat the kidney diet. She is incredibly fussy though. Take care and thanks ((())) xxx
Morning Jojo I'm so glad you had a good birthday I rather thought they'd all spoil you. Young children love birthdays so much don't they? No way would Michael not spoil his lovely wife too. A good rest from work will see you over that cold honestly typical when you have some leave that you get ill🙄 Thanks we love our animals too much don't we? ((())) xxx
Morning Stuart is the fence all done now? You have done well getting it all done will some help from your Mum I hope now you'll rest up a bit. I hate feline kidney disease? My old cat died of it it's nasty still there is treatment now and a special diet so paws crossed ((())) xxx
Morning Keef aha! Good Anda was working from home I am so glad to read that. A gentle getting back into work is the best thing for definite when you've been so ill. She must still be a bit weak.
Oh dear me you also need a road in your garden of course you do! and throwing things about too making a racket! Still as long as the bike (and everything else) is ok? Did I ever tell you the bot which cuts the field the previous owners bought is a Husqvarna!
I like a nice thick oil too but have always trusted what the club says to buy. seems ok. Booked in for the sump to be looked at. Messy job I think….
Glad to hear Sproglete is doing well with his footballer's rolls. If it keeps him out of trouble.
Take care Keef and honestly stop worrying if you miss one of us out I really can't see anyone here being offended. Back in the day (2008ish) when we had roughly 12 people posting all day here I used to finish off with 'sorry if i missed anyone' if that helps? ((())) xxx
Morning Reshmi how are you? Overcast out there atm but sun due later and it's village clear up day.
Gosh your poor Mum yesterday good job she is fine and what? Miracle of miracles your Dad actually looked after her. Well that is good.
Thank you for your kind words about my pusskin. Be interesting if your Mum could tell me how she felt when she was ill before her transplant. Like did she feel tired or sick or anything as obviously Sleek can't tell me.
Make the most of your few hours peace today. Some alone time will do you the world of good it always does me at any rate. I expect LA has kept his plaster on his wound unlike us lot who whip them off asap.
Glad yours wasn't sore even if there was a fair bit of blood.
Did you get a sticker? Was this the one at the GP surgery? Do you look on the app for your results yourself? I do it's quite interesting I think.
Take care and have a great day ((())) xxx
Morning Toady I bet you enjoyed yesterday like Sleek and I did. Elfie is in a state rushing (nasty expression but headless chicken) around making a fuss after Sleek's bloods came back. He wants to make things better, but he will get his head around it. I'm sure we'll have her for another few years if we are lucky. I don't think they do kidney transplants for cats yet, but we'll do our best.
She was outside with me a significant part of the day rolling in the dirt. It was Sleek's usual vet who rang. She put Eric to sleep and has known Sleek since she was a kitten. She loves her too I know she does. She said it was testament to my care that she is almost 16 and only just got it so that's good to know. It is a thing with cats. She's on her way to you and no doubt will tell you all about it.
On a more cheerful note wow your pants look so healthy!!! Great photos you clearly didn't have the breeze we did yesterday. Today is village clearup so I will be planting up the Church wall. Just the right height.
Take care and enjoy the day. ((())) xxx
yesterday was also Barbara's birthday! Joan remembered.
If anyone doesn't know who she is she was one of the first cafe users had to stop posting when her eyesight deteriorated too far to read and type.
Breakfast anyone?
