Hi

Well after being on Adalimumab for a few months which was working wonders on my arthritis but unfortunately, I started having side effects including swollen ankles and feet. So my consultant has decided to move me to Golimumab Simponi monthly injections combined with methotrexate and Sulphasalazine, has any of the group been on this and how have they found it including any side effects

Any advice would be appreciated Thank you 😊x

Hi @Jem26 I don't know whether you already did this but I did a quick search for you on the subject of Golimumab:

It's not a medication which seems to be prescribed frequently. It would be really good if you'd report back how you get on with it. Most of the threads aren't recent and it might help another person like you looking for other people's experiences.

    Best of luck

    Ellen.

Hi Ellen thank you 🙏 my Consultant said it’s not always prescribed due to costs and you have to be on methotrexate before they prescribe and I have read that some people have has lots of adverse side effects so was trying to gather more information I will update when I start taking

    Thank you again
