Hydrotherapy
Hi. I am wondering if exercise can trigger a flare up of inflammation and fatigue? I just had my first hydrotherapy session and it feels like progress has stalled/regressed. Has anyone else experienced this?

Welcome to the online community I see you have had your first hydrotherapy session and are concerned it has caused a flare. I did a quick search and found the following threads on the subject. An initial look suggests them to be mostly positive. I have also added Versus Arthritis' information on the subject:
My suggestion would be to discuss the issue with whoever is running your course - hopefully a physiotherapist -before your next session.
Do let us know how you get on.
Ellen.

Hi @kathrynrosie nice to meet you.
Now I do not know whether this is even relevant, but my first two minor flares before my arthritis took hold (inflammatory) where after going swimming. I still believe it to be just coincidental, but will never know.
I agree with Ellen ask the physio in charge whether they would expect this to be normal.
Hope things settle down for you soon

I had hydrotherapy years ago following knee surgery and it really helped me and even now I walk around a swimming pool when I can to aid my hips.
