I need a pillow

I am suffering with a very sore neck and stiff shoulder and I think it’s due to my pillow. Has anyone got any suggestions for a good pillow for a restful nights sleep. Thank you.

I think it is trial and error finding the right one, and most places won't allow you to return a pillow if the packaging has been opened. There are ergonomic pillows - I have one that does suit me. It depends a lot on how you sleep, whether on your side or back as to which type might be suitable. Nowadays the choice is bewildering though.

The type I got is the shape of IKEA's Rosenskarm pillow though mine came from elsewhere. That type may suit you, or it may not! Hope you do find one that suits you.

    Hi @Ariana

I have had severe neck issues over the years I have cervical spondylitis and sore shoulders so totally understand your pain. Initially did the no pillows and rolled up handtowel which helped a bit.

I found a pillow (not cheap) which helped me years ago and must be on by 5th or more by now. It looks a bit like this

the bottom one. The bigger groove is for back sleepers and the smaller one for side sleepers. Definitely takes some of the pressure off for me though it took a week or so for me to adjust to it. I have recently bought one for my husband too and have one in our motorhome.

I will PM you the make of mine.

    Best of luck
