NOT Sciensus? ..

I was not surprised when looking through the history on this site to find that the emotive topic of home medication deliveries has arisen before on here, so I figured you folks might be the right ones to ask. Has anyone managed to secure home deliveries through an outfit other than Sciensus?

Sciensus was one of the reasons I walked away from rheumatology and biologic treatment originally. Very much beyond a joke, but I won't bore you with the details..

Now i'm getting worse again and considering another go, but will not have Sciensus back in my life. At all. Are there any alternatives? Surely it would be strange indeed if a patient could legitimately choose another public NHS trust, but not another private delivery company??

Please tell me there's someone else out there in our world-leading market-driven utopia, and that they are so much better!

    hi @stooperman , I cannot confirm anything as it may work differently for different areas of the NHS, but I have my biologics delivered by HealthNet Homecare and have had zero issues with them (knock on wood). I believe your rheumatology team, or perhaps even nurses line would be better able to advise you and tell you what options you may have.

    I can only echo @annabanana, I too have my biologics delivered by Healthnet and they have been faultless (so far!). I was not given a choice, Healthnet was organised by my hospital trust but definitely worth a chat with your rheumatology nurses. And you never know, your hospital trust may have changed to another (better?) company.

    Thank you so much @annabanana and @Eeyore for this. It's the most inspiring evidence for Sciensus-free living I've encountered so far. So it is possible after all! I wasn't given a choice either, but at least I could beg for something specific now.
