Has anyone tried products with Celadrin

I have osteoarthritis and had two successful hip replacements which I thought was going to resolve my arthritis problems. However it just keeps spreading and is now in all the main joints in my body and in my spine. For several years I have required both shoulder joints replaced and my elbow joints are also badly affected. I have not been able to go ahead with surgery for shoulder joint replacements as the recovery time is much longer than for hip replacements and I can't take the extended time off work.

I find Glucosamine & Chondroitin really helpful along with my prescribed medication but I am never free from pain which I am finding increasingly difficult to cope with as it has gone on now for so many years. I have seen several adverts recently for products containing Celadrin can anyone tell me if they have used this with any success. I have tried lots of things in the past without success and just wonder if products with Celadrin are worth trying?

I was reading a magazine over xmas and a woman with severe OA in her shoulders said she bought some capsules and they gave her great relief and she feels fine now, my shoulders are killing me so I am going to buy some, she said they cost about £20 for 60 capsules, but hey if they work, I'd pay anything to have some relief at the moment. I'll keep you posted when I get some.

I have recieved an order of Celadrex (plus advanced) feeling as you do was taken in by the fact it was quoted as reducing pain in 30 minutes. Have been taking them since last Friday on the saturation dose of three times a day with food and can honestly say they make no difference. When I got the bottle couldn't help noticing on the front it says supports healthy joint functions and supports flexibility niether of which I have!I guess if any of these things worked we wouldn't all be suffering and how expensive it is if connected to RA etc. Anyway will finish the 20 days but suspect nothing wonderful will happen. Take care will let you know outcome

I have oa and I take Glucosamine and Celedrin. I honestly don't know if they do any good, but my husband, a biochemist, has looked into it and he thinks they're worth trying and hes not usually in favour of so called 'natural remadies'. He saws say they cann't do any harm, and might well do some good :!: I take thems as separate tablets, but you can buy a combined tablet. Hope this is of some help, if not much :):):)

I have not had a decent night sleep in years due to arthritis in my shoulders and everywhere else, but I must say I am sleeping a lot better, I usually wake up all the time trying to turn over and in real agony, so I'm not knocking them yet. Gonna give them a go for a couple of months and see if I see any major improvement, but getting a good night sleep has helped.

    Have people come across this:-
I started taking CELADRIN 12 months ago initially not much difference. I then `upped` the dose to 1500mg a day and found pain relief which was great. After about 8 months I realised I had developed a couple of pain areas, my shoulder and knee which were previously not a problem. I thought to myself I bet it would be ten times worse without the CELADRIN. I then had 3 weeks away and had forgotten the CELADRIN, lo and behold the shoulder and knee pain disappeared. I was baffled by this but decided to stop it completely and now after 3 months I am just as good as when I was on the CELADRIN but without the 2 new pain areas. CONCLUSION is that CELADRIN is a complete waste of money and time despite the science and I DID give it a good chance.
