Hi everyone. Fellow osteoarthritis and chronic pain sufferer. At only 57, I have lived with chronic pain for over 30 years now, after a spinal injury in 1992 and three major surgeries since. Arthritis has been affecting me for around 5 years, I would say, and is getting worse literally, week by week. It's been so bad at…
I’m just over 3 weeks post new hip. I think I’m making steady progress, apart from my slight oops a few days ago! I’m progressing onto the next set of physio exercises as well as the first set, and although these seem hard, so did the first ones initially. Moving in general is much better, but sleep is still awful - I…

Think…
Woke up later today, which was great. It's been a week now since hip replacement surgery. Noticing small changes as I do my physio. It's so lovely being able to sleep longer.
So, yesterday I did something stupid😡 I was putting my shoes on and reached further for than I should have done. It was split second thing, I just forgot and wasn’t thinking. It was about 6 inches above the floor. There was no awful noise and no horrible pain so hopefully nothing awful done. I rang the physio and asked…
I am waiting on getting more medication to hopefully work together with methotrexate once appointment comes through. Had my first experience of cramp in my non-operated let today. I cried out in pain. Thankfully I was able to use my husband to push the ball of my foot up. It's so good to be able to sleep so well. I am talking to my God through all this experience, being a Christian helps me.
