Hi, I have been suffering with Arthritis for 4 years now. Finally convinced my gp to send me to surgeon after steroid injections stopped working. I’m 44 and have been told I have end stage in both knees. I have undergone bariatric surgery as they said it was down to excess weight. I have lost 10 stone in the last 12 months…

I am three months into this, awaiting an ‘urgent’ referral to Dermatologist, waging war with sterate cream and lots of thick gel. It’s affecting about 90% of me with red, swollen itchy and sore skin. I’m already on Idalimumab for RA, and tablets for Pulmonary Fibrosis and as many Tramadol as I can swallow in a day. Help!

I’ve done Yoga all my adult life, including some teaching, I walk the…

I'm wondering how many of you were actually seen by your consultant surgeon before you had your hip or knee replacement on the NHS, or were you seen only by registrars, and didn't see him/her until the actual operation?
