Hi 👋 newbie here
Hi, I have been suffering with Arthritis for 4 years now. Finally convinced my gp to send me to surgeon after steroid injections stopped working. I’m 44 and have been told I have end stage in both knees. I have undergone bariatric surgery as they said it was down to excess weight. I have lost 10 stone in the last 12 months but my knees are worse. Been told I’m too young for replacements but they will happily saw my leg up and give me a bone graft wedge to redistribute weight off the collapsed joint. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions please. Fed up of living on morphine which understandably gp restricts the amount I can have but it takes a massive dose to ease the pain. I’m in agony just lay in bed. I’m depressed, can’t work, can’t walk my dogs, have a rollator and I’m sick of it. Life shouldn’t be this hard at my age. Any positive suggestions please x🙏🏻
