I did try & splay my right foot out which helped a bit - but does anyone have any tips about how to do this manoeuvre successfully & without pain?

Since starting on Methotrexate, 2 weeks ago, I suddenly developed a very painful neck, very similar to the pain after sustaining a whiplash injury & am unable to move my head through the normal range of movements. Has anyone else experienced this & if so how long does it last?
Since my surgery, my lower leg feels very tight, from mid calf to my ankle. I’m taking all my pain meds. Would a heat pad or hot water bottle be a good idea when my leg is up?
