I have received a letter from the Rheumy clinic at hospital and they are going to put me on Hydroxychloroquine and Sulfaslzine as due to the many medical problems that I have I cannot have Methrotrexate or Leflunomide, they would be too dangerous for me to take
They have also said that they will have get in touch with the PCT about me having Etancept. :?:
Have any of you peeps been on the Hydroxychloroquine :?:
Have any of you been funded for Etancept :?:
Is this drug made of gold or something :?:

    Hi Trisha

I have been on hydroxychloroquine for a few years. No problems with it, just need 3 monthly FBC and yearly eye checks for rare retinal damage that this drug can cause.

I am also on sulfasalazine, this can make you feel sick and give you headaches, but side effects wear off after you have taken it for a while.

Hope this new combination works for you and good luck with the etancept. :D

    Hi Franki
Thanks for replying, I'm so glad that I came on this site. You are the ones who are taking the medications and the best to answer our questions, especially the newies like me. :D
    Many Thanks Trisher x :)
