    Hi welsh lady

If you feel like a good moan or just a wail of anguish, this is the place for you. Many people who use the forum are in a similar positon to yourself. Many of us are suffering from long term constant pain and have found different ways to cope.

If you need expert help there is always the Confidential Helpline 0808 800 4050 which is at the top of the webpage. Or the Forum Helpline Team if you want a reply online.
So, welcome to the forum and in time you will find that there is a large source of help available. We can't cure you, but somedays if you feel like a rantd015.gif we will listen and help.

    Hi Welshlady
Sorry you are in so much pain all the time. This is a good place to chat to others who have that in common with you as well as to pick up lots of useful helpful info.
Living ledgend has given you a good starting point.
I wanted to welcome you to the site too. I have found it brilliant, but beware you will end up having to set time aside each day to check it out!

    Hi Welshlady
    Welcome from me too!
You have found the right place as the others have said.
We do understand how you feel and can sympathise, support and sometimes offer advice to each other.
If this is new to you we may have some suggestions to help, if not we still might have and you might be able to help us too.
Either way get posting and we will be here :)
Tell us more about yourself and read more about each of us on the 'introduce yourself' forum. You will see that you probably have lots in common with us.
I do hope you popst again soon
    Take care

    Hi

I am sorry you are feeling so bad.
Constant pain can be so tiring.

At least on here you have people that really understand because they are going through the same.

My family and friends are great but if you haven't been there you just don't know!

I am a "newbie" on here too and it's a mine of information.

Hi Welsh Lady, Welcome to the forum where you will get a lot of helfpul advice and support. I was diagnosed with OA last Dec. and only recently was also diagnosed with RA so like you I am always in pain. Now have a painful shoulder which could be a trapped nerve and I too feel that every day is filled with pain. However, knowing there are others like me out there has been a great moral support.Has your GP prescribed pain relief for your pain?It does take a while to get pain relief which suits you.I am still waiting to get the right meds for myself and hopefully when I get my first appoinment with the rhuemy,he will be able to prescribe me something stronger which will help with the pain. But you are not alone, just log on anytime you feel like a chat.Other longstanding members will probably have more helpful advice for you as I only joined the forum a few months ago.It has been a great help to me. Take care. Breane.x :)

Hi Welsh Lady, welcome to the Forum. I joined after being diagnoses with end stage OA and other stuff. I was at a total loss, in pain, angry and frustrated. I had a 9 month old baby I couldn't look after and was nearly dropping and a 3 year old telling Mummy not to cry. I needed to get a grip and fast.

This forum has changed my life. My outlook is completely different. I am like a different person to the one who joined here and it's all thanks to this site and it's contributors. They pick me up on bad days, laugh with me on good days and help me when I'm in pain or need advice about new meds. I hope you find this site as wonderful as I do. Take care Eck x

    Hi Welsh_lady,

    Good to have you posting.

Pain, pain and more pain is no fun and on some days we wonder why we get out of bed at all except that sometimes even lying in bed is uncomfortable

Doesn't your medication help or are they still sorting that out for you?

I hope you start to feel better very soon.

Hello Welshlandy, Just to say welcome, really.

I have OA in my spine and quite a few places. So pian has become part of my life too. Its so tiring and depressing and makes you feel isolated. This is a really good site to find others who are in the same position and get tips and information. I hope you will get as much out of it as I do. Love Sue

    Hi

Welcome to the forum. I am sorry to read you felt so bad in the early hours. I do hope you were able to get some sleep and feel a little better today, if not physically, mentally at least. You have certainly had a huge welcome here and quite right too. That in itself, should cheer you up a little.

Hope to be hearing much more from you in the near future.

    Luv
    Elna x

    Hello Welsh Lady
    Welcome to the site.
You are not alone we all feel that way at times, and its the same for me at the moment my time is here again, pain, pain and more pain it just seems to get worse and comes round quicker every time. BUT we are here to support each other and have a good old moan when it gets really bad, so post when you have the bad times and have a particular problem someone will have suffered the same and be able to help and post when something good is going on for you. Everyone understands and is supportive on here.
