:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D hi all , well I am still getting the benefits of the steriod injection , the only time after I had injection the hip was sore was if I stand too long, now they told me that I might get 3 months of less pain , it looks like that is not the case as it is starting to get sore .

my right hip, seems to getting worse , i think it is because it is taking more weight on it , I sorry that I have not been on much here lately , but felt kind of gulity coming here when I was fine in the left hip, and people here were in so much pain          .

Hazel arms are very very painful she can hardley move the, I heat the weat bags for her it helps for a while , she is waiting for an ot to come out they keep phoning and asking for her to come to them but its 13 miles away and as we have no transport its not an option . they said she will have to wait for an appointment .

oh I forgot to tell you THAT i GOT WORD FROM the commisioner (DLA) I think they turned me down again, the expert from the cab said they did not take the word of th doctors report ne phase from the doctor said the patient can walk with great pain but this is made worse with the aid of cruthes , the dla doctor said he can walk with cruthes 75 meters before pain sets in , now where did he get that from I am just giving up thy dont even belive the doctors so I am beat.

Good luck mine was hopeless , but yours will get through good luck everybody :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Hi Mike and Hazel

I have missed not seeing your names on the forum. You must never feel guilty about calling in, . I hope you will join us more often again.

I also hope that your steroid injection lasts a lot longer than you are thinking. I am sorry to hear the latest about Hazel too and hope that she gets OT help soon. Not good news about the DLA either - hope that gets sorted if you can bear to continue with it.

    Luv
    Elna

    Hi Mike and Hazel

Glad the injections are still helping, hope they last a while longer though.

Hope Hazel gets something sorted out soon too and that she doesn't have too long a wait.

The DLA thing is awful, my friend is diabetic and she gets higher rate mobilty and lower rate care and she doesn't have the other problems that you are coping with. Leave it a while and try again.

    Hope Mike jnr is OK.

PS as Elna says never feel guilty and please come back :)

    Love

Hi Mike, great to hear from you again, good news that the injections had some effect but I am sad for Hazel, hopefully she will feel better soon, send her some hugs from us all . I hop Mike Jr is well.

Losing weight is hard when you are in pain, you have no motivation whatsoever. Sorry about the DLA, but you keep fighting Mike, you'd be amazed how many Drs get it wrong and someone else will put it right for you. Let us know how things go.

    eck
