I can hardly move today and my other hip has started hurting as well.

I know what you mean, I think just looking out at the rain makes me feel cold, miserable and achey give me abit of sunshine anyday, then again I've got a stinking cold at the moment so feel well down anyway, just wish colds didn't knock you for six. Also fed up of everyone asking me if its swine flu. Roll on summer

I can empathise with how you feel. It started drizzling here last night and I had a Church meeting . By the time I got home I felt awful. Real flu like symptoms-temp, headache, achy all over. I know I haven't got the flu-I haven't even got a cold but that bit of drizzle was enough to start it off. This morning now we have full blown wind and rain I still feel achy but not as fluey (if that makes sense). So different to last week and the lovely weather. Come back sunshine we miss you soooooo much!!

Yes, I feel bad today because of the rain. Another reason to hate rain (my main one is that it makes my hair go frizzy!). Bring on the sunshine - tell you what, I'll stop singing, that normally does the trick :-)

Debs, I've also got over a slight cold and yes, the next person to make a comment involving the words Swine Flu will get a proper mouthful!

    Hi all
I do remember reading somewhere that wet weather and hence pressure changes in the atmosphere have an effect on the joint capsule and can be responsible for some of the discomfort we feel when it rains. There! not an old wives tale girls!

Page you poor thing no heat or hot water!! Can you put on your best pleading voice and get them to fix it sooner

    Love Gillx

    Hi

I started to ache yesterday, and this morning my legs were aching so much that I could hardly crawl to the bathroom. I'm also aching in joints which don't usually give me much trouble. We had a big storm here last night, with torrential rain, and today isn't looking very promising either.

I've just read in the paper that most of us are deficient in vitamin D,90% of which we get from the sun. They now think that it plays a bigger part in protecting us from disease than they thought. No wonder we are deficient with our weather, but then we must also be careful of the sun because of skin cancer. We can't win!!

    Hello Joan

I believe we are in for some warmer weather by the weekend 22nd May. We certainly need it.

At present we have had this terrible cold wind all the time. There is a farmer's saying that "Wherever the winds blow on the 12thMarch I think, there the winds stay until the 12th July". Perhaps someone elses know this one better than me.

I do love the sunshine and I like to be out but suffer dreadfully from hayfever from what seems, all year round.

With MTX though, you cannot sit in the sun, because your burn too much. Can's win really can you.

    Joy
