Hi been through loads of different painkillers for my knee pain. Dr has now put me on zomorph which I started taking on Friday night.10 mg. Also just been diagnosed with osteoporosis and started taking alendronic on Sunday morning. Early hours of Monday morning I was violently sick and have been off yesterday and today. Think it may be the zomorph. Has anyone else had any bad experiences with this medication.

i havent suffered any sickness on this & i have oramorph liquid too for extra pain relief.
i did suffer terribly with the patches thou.
ask gp for an antisickness pill, alot of us have to take these.
im sure it just ur body getting used to the new drug, sometimes it takes a while for it to adjust.
i do sometimes feel a bit queasy but i just have some toast & it eases it off.
any more questions just post we always around to help.

Hello, Are you following the instructions for the alendoric acid? It can cause problems if you eat too soon after taking it (30 mins)? I don't take it, but I used to give medication to patients who took this up until 6 months ago, I worked with the elderly dementia sufferers and had to do make sure they had proper medication, quite a job sometimes. You wouldn't believe were I've found tablets! :D You should have an instruction sheet in the packet, or your chemist can help you. If its not that you should go and talk to your GP! Hope it sorts out for you. Love Sue
