Hello,
The other day I posted a question about odd feelings in my leg, nerve damage etc, etc. The past couple of mornings, when I've woken up and when I've got out of bed, my right leg feels very weird. I can't straighten it and feels like my muscles have been shortened!!!! I had to hop downstairs and it takes about 5mins to straighten. Anyone else get this?

Hi Magenta. Yes I get that. Sometimes it's sciatica or no feeling at all. Others my leg goes straight as an arrow, like all the muscles are tensed and there is a tingling sensation right down my leg under my toes. Other times, it's bent. I have always assumed it was the spinal stenosis as I know that is impinging the sciatic nerve. But i would get that checked out if I was you., especially if you haven't been diagnosed with anything. My diazepam helps with this as it happens during the day too. When it does suddenly I fall, that's what caused the bad fall I had recently.
So I'd see the Dr. x0 -

Hi Eileen,
Sounds like it could be muscle spasms making the leg shorter cus they are all locked up. When you see the doctor sound out weather it would be a good idea to see you consultant earlier than you may be seeing them? I know my shoulder spasms all the time and today the pain clinic did a trigger point jab in it and as yet it hasn't locked up and has almost lost the pins and needles. I hope they can do something for you and you take care, Cris xx0
