Hi Guys
woke up feeling down today fed up in pain I shouldn't complain don't know if it's the weather or what still waiting for my next operation appointment seems to be taking forever but only been a few weeks. I am sure it will clash with my holiday or a concert we have booked or changing my car, I have also said I will look after my granddaughter at the beginning of August daughter is in court 19th June. Seems like it's all happening together.
Sorry to moan just had enough at the moment.

Hi Debbie,
I am sorry you are feeling down and in pain today. I think surgery fears play havoc with your mind but it will all come together and sort through. Maybe you should take a quiet day and rest up today? I hope you soon have less pain and try and stop worrying about it all for a bit as that leads to circles you can get stuck on. A ((( ))) for you and I hope you are soon back to your old self. Hi debbie
Just coping with pain everyday is very tiring.
Add to that the everyday struggle of living and it's no wonder things get on top of us all and make us feel down.
I hope something comes along soon to make you smile.
Best wishes0 -
Hi Debbie
Sorry to hear you are feeling down today. The weather isn't helping, is it? I think the worst thing to deal with is sometimes uncertainty, and until you get your appointment, you are finding it difficult to make any plans. Added to that, you are in pain, which is debilitating for anyone.
Sometimes it seems that life conspires against us, doesn't it ? I wonder whether you can distract yourself away from your worries for the time being by doing something to raise your spirits. Perhaps try to think of something you would really enjoy doing, and then reward yourself by doing it. Sometimes we get bogged down in our worries, and perhaps you need to give yourself a little tender loving care at the moment.
I hope things will become better for you soon. Once you have your appointment, you will be able to see a way forward.

Hi Debbie
I think the uncertainty of not knowing when you are going to be called in adds to all the anxiety of having surgery. This coupled to the pain that going on conspires to make you feel down. As difficult as it is to do, try blocking the thoughts of the disruption it may cause you. You will have a little bit of notice and its amazing how people will help you out to get everything sorted for you to be able to go into hospital peacefully knowing that home stuff will either be done or wait to be done without causing too many difficulties. I think one of the most difficult things of arthritis is how it stops us being able to plan things. Maybe however if we just accepted that we cant always be in control of our lives.... (how many people really are, noone even if they are healthy knows what is round the corner. Good stuff as well as the inevitable blows happen.) I think rather than be so upset at being out of control, maybe we would all do better to think, I cant control things but I am going to be flexible and deal with things as best I can when and IF they happen.
Worrying takes so much of our energies. Its a difficult one to battle though.
Good luck with it all and I wish you all the best.
Joan
I seem to be following you around today

Hi Debbie
When you get the surgery date you will be able to sort it all out - until then do try not to worry. Easy for me to say.
As you are doing enjoy what you can - your family and Grandaughter and BBQs in the rain!
You take care
