Hiya
I went to see doc again as he asked "If it didnt get better" ha ha ha! yeah right!!! with my right shoulder because I think I have OA in that as well.... And surprise surprise because I am having a THR and have a "dicky heart" and having a scan for that (Oh things just get bettter and better). My "LOCUM" doctor says I should wait and get the other things sorted first, YEAH OK. BUT, when I have my THR I will probs be lyeing on my RIGHT Side and will have a epidural (thats the BAD shoulder that I Cant sleep on) because its my left hip that I will be having the op on. OH WHY IS EVERYTHING SOOOO TOOOOO MUUUCH FOR THE DOCTORS TO UNDERSTAND.
I know what I am rambling about I hope that your understand my ramblings.....

    Hi Denise

Well what can I say! another useless Dr. I thought they would have some understanding of patients problems but I get the feeling I'm wrong. How about trying a different Dr. I know it means going through it all again but surely they can come up with something to help with your pain even if it's cream instead of pills. Would a nice soft pillow under your shoulder be any help?

Hope you can get something sorted out.

    Love

    Hi

Sorry, it sometimes hard to see just what GPs are thinking about. I hope everything gets sorted out for you quickly. Just sending you lots of love and best wishes. Sue

Hi, just want to send you lots of hugs and good wishes, Ive had a number of delays for my THR, the last on I was actually in the admissions ward and they found I had a water infection and sent me home :( took me a couple of weeks to get over. I know of countless other people who have all sorts of health problems and they seem to be able to get their op no probs, maybe theyre being ultra cautious! But I know how frustrating it is, the docs dont have to live with the pain, maybe if they did they would understand more. take care jk
