Hello, I expect someone will answer you who has RA and knows about the problems more than me but I do know people on here have complained of similar symptoms. Good Luck Sue

    Hi

Welcome to the forum. Sorry I can't help but there was a thread about jaw pain a while ago I'll have a look and see if I can find it and bump it up for you.

    Love

    Hello,
Sorry to hear you've got jaw pain, I get this and it's horrible. I've posted loads on jaw pain. If you use the search thingy at the top and put Magenta in for search author, you'll get all my posts in there. Or you can put in jaw pain and that should do it too! I have OA in my jaw. Still trying to get the right treatment though. If there's anything I can help you with, just ask
I use heat to help ease the pain and eat soft foods when it's bad. Hope you get relief soon,
    Magenta

    Hi,
Sorry you are having this pain.
I have only had RA for about 8 months, but been suffering a while with jaw pain. It is awful when I have to chew and often radiates into my ears.
    Not much advice.
Although if you have hsd RA 25 years and never jaw pain before it could be some other virus or infection. Or maybe the sore throat triggered you immune system to attack the jaw since it's nearby, not really sure how these things work.
Big sympathy though - it's a pain! (no pun intended!)
