Hi im new to this,i have inflammatory arthritus of the knee,thats what docs and specialist call it.ive had several ops last one being a synovectomy where i developed a DVT and blood clots on lungs.i have now been refered by my rhymatologist for Yattrium therapy,has anyone had that as i dont know what to expect.i have had blood test for RA all of which have come back negative,although i am anemic i feel tired constantly and weak my body aches all over,im worried this could be the start of RA but blood test are clear. :cry:

    From some Googling it appears that it is a Monoclonal antibody therapy which is a very specific type of treatment for severe diseases including Rheumatoid Arthritis.

    It comes under the Anti-TNF class of drugs I think so have a look online for that.

    You will have to ask your Rheumatologist which one you will be taking though to find out about side effects and stuff.

    ty all for your support and advice,im so glad i found this site, just have to wait till the end of July to see Rheumy i have to have Yattrium injections thats all i know,of course i will keep you all updated.
