My rheumatoid doc thinks that i have got this im doing bloods and x rays tomorrow, to make sure it's not anything else.

I have googled it on the computer and i seem to have a lot of the symptoms, but i have had a lot of them for years and thought everyone was the same, it was when i got the pain that i new something was wrong but thought it was arthritis.

Has anyone else been like this only to find out years later it was fibro.

I have always been sensitive to taste, hearing, hot and cold memory loss [thought that was my age] ringing in the ears

what im asking is does that mean i have had this for years without knowing?

Is there any one out here who can tell me the next step when i get diagnosed.

thank you

Hi Jen my sister has been suffering with the same symptoms as you for years her G.p's have been fobbing her off, she was so fed up with the pain and everything that goes with it she looked up fybromyalga got on to a site on computer which give her some hints on what to say to the Dr, she did this went back to her G.p and he has know given her an appointment to see a rhumatolagist in July but she had to be firm with her G.P after fighting for years, so try some of the fybro sights and see how you get on and please let me know your outcome. Hi Jennyb,
I've been told I probably have fibro - rhuemys still think I also have arthritis cos they insist I still take my ani-inflamms. I too have looked up the internet and found a few good sites. I have all the symptoms. I'm getting alot of nerve probs at the moment and due to see my GP on Tuesday about it. The web sites say you should be referred to a nuerologist and they can do loads of test to diagnose fibro-so that's my next step. Hope things ok with you,
