Hi all ,
just thought I would let you all know, that the appointment came for the surgeon again, dont know what good he can do he told me cant do hip replacement too younng, he did give me the steriod injection the last time I saw him although he told me key hole surgery was the only way for me , so that day when I saw him I thought that was what he was going to do , but he turned round and said , I never said that .
Now ,the place Iam going to said we dont book transport for you . so I rang to ask to speak to the gp but the girl asked what it was for , I told her the trouble I was having , and she booked it for me there and then ,,, I will check that it has been done as the last time they did this , I found out, I was just told that.

Hi Mike
Well that's good then, but as you say you can't be too sure it really HAS been booked yet :!:
If he says you have to go ahead with the keyhole - will you do it Mike :?:
Don't forget to let us know

Hi Mike,
I had my hip replaced in Mar at 35 in Northern Ireland so every consultant must have there own Idea. I am trying to avoid a second so would be interested to hear what the keyhole surgery is. Hope you get the right result.0 -
Hi
one couslant told me that there was bits of bones floating about and keyhole surgery would clear them up , as this was causing a lot of pain.
when I saw the surgeon , he said I will sent you for a mri scan to see where the keyhole is to be done. so I was gearing myself up for this to be taking place when the surgeon sent for me to tell me the results, imangine my shock when he said steriod injection. I said what about he keyhole surgery he looked at me and said, I NEVER SAID THAT. now I dont know what to belive from this surgeon, I know people that are worse than me and they see no surgeon, I asked the gp what am I at a surgeon for if he wont do anything for me as he says I am too younng I am ( 46)he just said he must be wanting to keep an eye on you
